Large group of us settled on this for dinner. Pretty tasty, but more expensive than I care for. Wasn't very leisurely either, felt like they were rushing even though there was not a lot of customers on a Thursday evening around 7pm. Felt like the staff was "stuffy", could have been more personable right from the person that seated us thru the end of the meal. Appreciated that if you have an allergy they will prepare your food separately or at least give you recomendations.

We dropped in here after being disappointed by a recommendation at another place. I am glad we did. Quick and pleasant team at the entrance, top draw food with a melt in the mouth steak and quality sides. This was the best meal of our 10 day road trip.It was made this by the genuine and attentive service of our waitress (Stephanie) who was professional and charming as well as helpful and clearly a hard working member of the team. Thank you for a great meal to end our trip.

The food was pretty good, however, the service was exceptionally slow. We had at least 5 servers, and they had no idea what was going on at our table. No communication between the other servers. Also, they must fix their ventilation system. It is horrible. You smell like a camp fire when you leave. It took forever to get the smell out of my hair.

Had a great meal and martinis at the bar. Service was top notch. The wedge salad was perfect and very reasonable. Steaks were cooked exactly to order and tasty, although the amount of salt on the crust was a bit heavy. Lot of choices on the menu.

Party of five, we arrived unannounced on what was a very busy evening. Well received and advised a table would be ours within 15 minutes. Well within that time, we were guided to our table and a very cheery server, Rachael greeted us and gave us menus.Drinks were ordered and served, questions on the menu answered intelligently so we placed our orders.We shared a starter of deep fried shrimp with a home-made dip - the shrimp were piping hot, well cooked and plentiful, but for me the dip was far too acidic, more like a bought-in product than homemade. Other than that small detail, the meal was excellent! Two of us had 12oz Ribeyes the other three, a different cut each. All were well presented and cooked perfectly to our individual tastes. Butter knife tender each one!! The various vegetables were all well cooked and well presented. Our server was attentive and genuinely pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Our first time visiting this restaurant but definitely worth another visit.Prices we felt were very reasonable for the quality but allow $35 per head plus alcohol as a guide. Restaurant has very good ambiance and a great buzz the night we were there.

We arrived for a 5 PM reservation to a practically empty dining room. The hostess who was unwelcoming and greeted us in a cool manner showed us to a booth, The booth next to the one she wanted to give us was the only occupied booth so I asked if we could move to the next booth over. She replied no, it was not available. We could have one table that she pointed to or the original booth. We settled on a table and I said your'e that busy. She said yes. That booth remained unoccupied most of the time we were there except for when I saw them re seating another party that they brought from another area menus in hand. They thanked them for reseating them. That could not have possibly been known when we asked for that booth. I also highly doubt the other people coming had requested a specific booth. They could have had the one we did not want. This set the tone for the entire visit, therefore they get a poor rating. Our server who was nice but extremely poorly trained thought we needed an in depth description of the difference between Manhattan & NE Clam chowder, which she called "the white one". We had to stop her and say we were well acquainted with the types of chowders. She cleared my husbands plate while i was still eating and asked if we wanted dessert at the same time. I could not answer as I was still chewing my food. All of this is unacceptable in any type of restaurant. A manager came over but I didn't want to get into it with him. Train these people so your guests are treated and served properly and don't have to be annoyed all over again telling you about it. Chicken and mashed potatoes were average.I did see this same hostess take a small paper napkin and wipe the table and chairs at a booth when a couple got up. No cleaner, just a quick wipe, almost like dry dusting and then set with plates and silverware. Unsanitary and lazy. I am sure the board of health would frown on this practice. So we will not return because of these issues, especially the hostess.Dear Patty,Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We had heard that Mere Bulles was an amazing restaurant from some of my coworkers and we took a chance on it for our wedding rehearsal dinner. I have to say that overall, they knocked it out of the park! Caty was super helpful for booking and everything went smoothly for almost 40 people. The service was stellar and Juan in particular was a fantastic waiter. The food was absolutely excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. We're so lucky that this was a fantastic place and we will definitely, definitely be back!Thank you Kevin. We are so glad you trusted us to be part of such an important celebration.
