On an industrial estate inside a sort of industrial looking shed, this restaurant was a real surprise inside, with lovely décor and ambiance, delightful staff. Fixed price all you can eat 3 course buffet, including a section where you can choose raw foods and have the chef freshly stir fry them for you. Lots of seafood, fantastic prawns and vegetable tempura. Helped to salvage a stay in a very basic hotel close by.

We were looking for a meal which did not involve going into the city, with the crowds and prices to match and stumbled upon La Aside whilst walking around our accommodation. We popped in and we're warmly and promptly greeted and seated. The decor is very good, stylishly done in keeping with the Asian nature. Surprisingly for a suburban restaurant, with good music. We both ordered what we saw served fellow guests and we're not disappointed. Lovely subtle flavour, well presented, and very much enjoyed. A restaurant we will likely go back to before we leave.

Stopped here for a quick bite of lunch. Great location at the port. Sat outside on a beautiful sunny February day. Waiter was very nice. Not a huge menu, but what they had was very good. We each had a salad (one cucumber, one cabbage). Then we had a variety of sushi and rolls. A bit small on the portions, but all the fish was very good and very fresh. Casual, friendly, and good food. Recommended.

Having used several chinese buffet type restaurants we found this one to be a little disappointing. Although not expensive, it wasn't cheap and the food was underwhelming. There was plenty of choice but most of the dishes we tried were excessively greasy.The staff were all friendly but we wouldn't go again.

Admettons que 'oui' . Je n'ai jamais eu de retour en ce qui concerne nos bières en 17 ans .Même si la température de votre bière ne vous convenait pas il suffisait tout simplement de me le dire je vous l'aurai changé avec plaisir au pire des cas je pouvais aussi la mettre un peu dans le congélateur pour la glacer un peu afin de vous satisfaire, je l'aurai fait .Pour la fraicheur de nos sushis il suffisait de me poser la question et je vous aurai fait voir la facture certifiant la fraîcheur de nos poissons . Je ne sais pas si vous le savez mais notre cuisine est ouverte et que vous pouvez voir le chef directement préparer les poissons à la commande .Pour le plastique qui protège la table cela s'appelle ' SET DE TABLE' si nos sets de tables ne vous conviennent pas en plus WHAT ELSE ?

I visited here with friends one evening. The food was fresh and there was lots of it. Some good Dim sum and won ton. There is a wok station where you can go and choose the fresh ingredients and choose the way you want it cooked, what flavors too and watch it cooked for you, this is really good. I have been to quiet a few of these Chinese buffet type restaurants as its a family favorite food. The food here is good value, there is not a massive selection but enough choice for everyone, this is good as the food is refreshed quickly.
