We visit Chatel a few times a year, only had the pleasure of eating here once, but we will certainly be making this a regular choice of dining. Made very welcome with complimentary drink, portions are generous and tasty. Deco a little tired, but since we visited it's had a makeover. La Rochelle is a fascinating place to wonder round, lots of interesting architecture. But feeling footsore and only wanting a light lunch we came upon Cafe Coulisses.Just what we were looking for. I had a croque monsieur with a very nice glass of rose and my husband an omelette. We both enjoyed our meals and the service was efficient and friendly.
