Right next to the best deli/supermarket I have yet seen in provincial France, La Popote has a smallish outside eating area (full that day) on a wooden deck next to a small parking area off a busy road. Great for summer lunches, but in cooler weather, there are plenty of tables plus a bar inside (which we didn't explore on that warm late summer day!). The menu is fairly basic, but well presented (see photos, the waitresses are friendly and scurry about efficiently, taking orders and delivering food on spotless plates. Waiting times are short, no doubt appreciated by the French clientele who have limited time away from work. There are set 2 course and 3 course meals at â¬12 and â¬14 respectively and a selection of other dishes. Great value and would happily recommend for an adequate light lunch.Open from 09h00 to 19h30 6 days a week..Hello, thank you for your comment. Come and try our buckwheat galettes our stuffed waffles, also crêpes and ice creams. Near beach and casino, we serve all day long to please your hunger.

We found this small but impressive cafe passing through on our long journey. The shopping centre was a great stop to stretch our legs and find some lunch. The food was laid out in a very appetising way and staff were very friendly. We ordered rolls with tuna and tapenade in followed by cookies and coffee. The rolls were huge, fresh and tasty and the cookies were amazing. Coffee was served in large mugs and steaming hot.
