Got ours to go since there are just two small tables inside, but that was fine--they gave us sturdy paper plates & good napkins to take back to the hotel. The clerk told us about a special right away that saved us money.

"Pizza" seems to be the closest "Type of Cuisine", but it's a delightful calzone shop in downtown Blacksburg.
I've been here a few times now, and am not super impressed. The food isn't bad, just bland. They have an assortment of toppings, but overall there isn't much taste.
We got the Veggie Jersey Style Thin Crust Pizza. It was good. They used canned mushrooms, so maybe they could improve that, but they were OK. The "Greek" Salad was OK, but it was mostly Iceberg Lettuce, and Ham Cold Cut, with a decent amount of Feta. No Kalamata Olives; just the nasty canned black slices. Very stark environment. The place is probably mostly take-out; our 'server' didn't seem to know exactly how to get the food from his hands to our table. I had a view into the kitchen from my seat, and there were two swing-open single door coolers visible. The glass doors were disgustingly filthy; they looked like someone had beat a greasy, bloody, chicken to death on the glass. I watched as one of the kitchen staff got a block of cheese out of one of the coolers, and saw his hands all over the glass. I think the kitchen staff's hands are probably not washed very often, and even if they were, touching either of the coolers' glass would instantly negate the hand-washing. I craned my neck when paying at the counter, to see more of the kitchen; nothing looked as bad as the cooler glass, but then, it would be hard to see all the dirty hand marks on things other than that clear glass. Maybe here it's best to eat things that have just come out of a 450 degree oven.

This is my go-to pizza place in Blacksburg for cheap pizza. Its fairly similar to a Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa John's, etc type pizza place. The pizza is pretty cheap, and I have a feeling that in order for it to be so cheap the workers get paid poorly, which I'm not a fan of. My order has been messed up several times, and I've gotten pizzas that are under-cooked. I still go back though.

We live in Blacksburg so we've been here dozens of times. It's run by a real (and that's putting it lightly) Italian couple and the meals are "home" cooked by the matrona herself. The hodgepodge decor has a certain kitchy charm that makes sense once you know the place, and is not unlike what you would find in a southern Italian village. Once you're past the first impression, the wood-fired pizzas (only place in town to offer them) are sensational, the homemade pasta is like you rarely get in a restaurant, the entrées are perfectly cooked, and her gelato is the best we've had. The staff is never boring and always competent. Oh, and the outdoor seating on a nice day is unbeatable! We have had some hilariously memorable meals here thanks to the family interaction with the staff. The open kitchen comes with free entertainment. They run the place with an iron fist and she will complain if you order something differently than she thinks it should be. But they are sweet people behind that Italian drama, and we have yet to have a bad meal here. We have come to love the whole package you get at Ceritano's.

Came here for lunch. While this is your typical college bar, this place serves very good food with warm and friendly service. Prices are also very reasonable. I was surprised by the salad choices offered. I had a salad with feta and dried cranberries with a chardonnay vinaigrette which was delicious. The loaded fries my hubby had were hot and fresh. Great choice if you want something easy in a very casual atmosphere.

Had never tried this restaurant before so thought we would try. Went in during a slow day and slow time. There were only 3 tables full at the time and we were all put together. Please, give people some space with a huge empty dining room, why sit people on top of one another. Waiter was friendly. The food came, it didn't taste bad but it didnt agree with me later and felt mildly ill. Not sure I would visit again.

We stopped here our first night in Blacksburg for dinner. Bennyâs was highly recommend and my sonâs loved the 28â pizza. 1 pizza filled all three of us up!The local homemade ice cream sold in pints is also very good with interesting flavors. They also have plenty of drinks to choose from. This is a fun atmosphere though very tiny.

The Cellar Restaurant and 6-Pak Beer Store is located in downtown Blacksburg Virginia directly across from Va Tech campus. We have been serving Greek and American food since 1963. Our signature dishes include homemade Meat Lasagne, Greek spaghetti, Moussa
Lunch food was quite good. Service was excellent. Upstairs indoors was a bit noisy, so we moved outside where there was a better chance to chat. Our server was accommodating. Craft beer menu is extensive. Greek chicken kabob was excellent.
