Very high quality, and reasonably priced pizzas with a fusion of traditional 70s pizzas, and modern twist specialties. $2 garlic bread is a bargain, no wonder so many students go here.

Tucked away in the Gateway on Monash Hotel, this lovely little restaurant has a nice ambiance with lovely sunlit views of water feature and courtyard. They are not usually open for lunch but will open if there is a minimum of 4 and you pre-order. The menu is extensive and well priced. The food servings were large, the presentation was great and it tasted good! They are open for breakfast and dinner, however I highly recommend for a corporate luncheon or if there is a group of more than 4. Cameron is very accommodating as are the rest of the staff.I would like to thank you for taking the time to convey your feedback regarding your dining experience in Verona Restaurant, it is most appreciated and important. At Gateway on Monash Boutique Hotel we are continually striving to provide the very best in facilities, customer service and high quality of food products. It is through reviews like yours and word of mouth that we can inform more customers of this hidden gem. Thank you again and I look forward to welcoming you shortly.

Our newest member to the family, The Last Piece Oakleigh opened to a warm reception in June 2017. Based on the framework of the founding Waverley Park, The Last Piece Oakleigh serves italian influenced dinner 7 days a week. Pizza is of a focus at dinner,
Went here last week for the second time. Just fantastic.Had the pasta although itâs mainly a pizza restaurant. Had the pumpkin ravioli with burned butter and it was excellent (although the portion size was a little small). Also had a glass of wine which was pretty good too.Place was full on both occasions but the staff managed to get us a seat. Can get a little noisy with a large crowd there but it was still ok. Staff are efficient, friendly and attentive.Really enjoyed both visits, Iâll be back.

With many restaurants booked out this time of the year we decided to go to Pescare and fortunately they had a table for the 4 of us. The appetisers of bruschetta and mixed dips were nice although the dips could have had more taste. The bread though was very nice. I asked what fish they use for fish and chips. It happened to be flathead, my favourite for fish and chips. This happened to be an excellent choice. the hippies were good and the fish was cooked to perfection. Still moist on the inside and very tasty. The salad and chicken of our companions were also good and all the serves were generous. We choose an Italian Pinot Grigio with our meal and this was great, well worth the $ 40 we paid for it. Finally, the service could not be faulted. Very nice young people who worked hard to add to our great dining experience. We'll be happy to come back here. Parking though is hard to find on a busy Friday night in this area. So take your time.

Fedele's Ristorante Italiano has been providing the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne with fine traditional Italian food for 25 years. Seating up to 170 across 2 dining rooms, catering for groups of up to 100. Our private function rooms are well sought after f
We dined here in late May for dinner. My understanding is that there has been a few management issues just recently which has had an impact on the total experience at Fedeleâs.However the staff on the night were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. There isnât a large menu but we didnât have any trouble finding something that we wanted to try. The duck was excellent and so were the pastas. We didnât try the desserts as we were too full!Ignore the previous bad reviews- the ongoing staff are really doing their best to make you want to return. We will.Thank you so much for your feedback, we are really glad that the change is noticeable. We are doing our best to return to the excellent levels of service which our guests were used to in past times. We look forward to see you again soon. Thank you, Jacqui.
This place is a must visit! The food is amazing the staff are great!Everything is delicious!! Portions are generous without being too much. Frozen pasta can be purchase from the store to be made at home.
Where to eat Australian food in Clayton: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This âupmarketâ Italian restaurant is tucked away in a commercial precinct, not far from Brandon Park shopping centre. The best thing is: parking is not a problem! At least, not on the Saturday when we visited for a family birthday celebration. The white table cloths and napkins add a certain âje ne sais quoiâ to the place: as waiter extraordinarie, Nikolas, expertly rolls and folds your napkin during your absence from the table!Nikolas was so very patient with our table - especially a 90 year old mother who likes to make difficult for everyone these days! The menu is very different from ârun of the millâ Italian restaurants and is a little on the adventurous side. A case in point is the swordfish two of us ordered: it was rare in the middle. As someone who only has well done steak, hamburgers - and salmon - I was quite taken aback that it was not cooked through. Upon being informed this was how ppl like swordfish to be cooked - I said that I would have liked to have been asked how I would like it cooked. Nikolas agreed to take my comment on board. But, as a baby boomer Iâve been around a while(!) and have travelled quite a bit and have eaten at a lot of restaurants in Australia and overseas - and I have never encountered âmedium rareâ swordfish before. It also means the fish is quite âtoughâ to eat - but admittedly, this was a very thick, generous piece.Be warned: Sette Bello is no cheap Italian. Main courses cost around $38 - while steak was $46. The pasta dishes are only marginally cheaper. The sides are $9 each - but the French fries were the best Iâve tasted!Desserts are around $16 each - but I highly recommend the lemon ricotta-filled cannoli at $4.50 each. We ordered 2 between 4 ppl and had trouble finishing it although it was delicious.Coffee was great, too!The restaurant had a lovely ambience - and thatâs mainly because the wait staff are so welcome and obliging. This Saturday lunch time was very busy - with ppl coming at various times in the lunchtime period.
