The concept at Anne's is very promising - all vegetarian food, a lot of vegan options also. However the place we visited is very small. This might change as this restaurant has moved to another location in Tapiola, don't know yet. The food is tasty and you pay per weight which is good as it aims at reducing waste. However I found my portion on the expensive side for lunch - 13,40EUR. Interesting to check if the new setup has brought improvements.

Great restaurant right next to the Aalto University metro station. Lots of good beers, some gems on the wine list and very well cooked food. Had a really good steak.

It's been 5 years since Cafe Brunnsdal opened it's door. It started as a small cafe opened just a few hours per week and evolved into a great place to have lunch or brunch.It's a family business and probably because of that one feels there really at home: the owner is the soul of the place; always smiling, always welcoming. The food is really tasty as well - their burgers are really fantastic! They have also so called "A-rights" so you can enjoy a glass of nice house wine with your food, if you fancy. We go there usually for lunch during weekends, but I can recommend them also for any type of private occasion, like ex. birthdays or team meetings. They have a separate space upstairs, so you can enjoy your privacy.

I try to come to Kylä every time when I'm in Espoo which is rather often. Even if offers a decently priced lunch menu (closed in July for lunch), I prefer dinner and the more expensive a la carte menu. This time we tried the offer: 3 starters for 20⬠instead if starter & main course. All very well presented and tasty, enough for me but my companion still had place for dessert. Worthwhile!
