Mala Pecora Food Experience s.l.u

If you liked the "Mala Pécora Taverna Baret", we return in a new location, inside the Hotel "Boho Suites Denia". Same kitchen in a more pleasant environment.

My husband and I discovered Mala Pecora by accident and we were not disappointed!A wonderful little restaurant, tucked away down a little side street, with fabulous decor and great ambience. We had a 'menu degustación' (6 courses in total) which included: * a salad of tuna, figs, olives, tomatoes, beautiful dried fish (I think it was called 'capellon' - excuse the spelling) and fantastic sweet, local pickled little onions. The combination was superb.* Valencian cocas with red and green peppers, onions, topped with a fig alioli.* beef with a turron sauce.* Revuelto with asparagus, typical local sausage and octopus.* a mini hamburger-style dish served with a sun-dried tomato salsa.* A dessert of butternut squash, two types of homemade ice-cream (one being chocolate brownie), served with roasted/crushed almonds, chocolate sauce and chocolate peanuts. Totally scrummy!Alongside this, there were local artisan beers and wine. Both Rafa and Pedro were welcoming and knowledgeable, took the time to explain every dish and even show us certain things when my Spanish failed me.Highly recommend a visit here, especially if you have a special occasion and/or want to try somewhere that has a modern twist on traditional regional/local dishes using seasonal, fresh ingredients.Muchas gracias por su opinión

Pointer Food, Drinks & Friends

Pointer is the best place in Denia to enjoy the good tex-mex, with its excellent beef burgers, Mexican fajitas, sandwiches, blinis or wraps. All this in one of the fashionable places of the city. Do not miss it!!!

We have been coming to Pointer for several years now and it is always a pleasure to do so!The welcome from the co-owner, Sol, is always warm and very genuine and their logo of “Food, drink & friends” captures almost everything I could say about Pointer! It’s location is possibly the most atmospheric in Dénia with a plethora of international food within 100 metres (not to mention The bustling seafront of Dénia). If you haven’t been, treat yourself, surprisingly good prices, great food and remember, you are amongst friends!

We spent a morning walking around Denia and came across this wonderful place - we were hot and tired, looking for authentic Spanish tapas. They moved tables around (so our large group could sit together) and made us feel really welcome. The kids meals came out very quickly (a delicious tapas of chorizo croquettes and some mussels) while we were warned that ours would take a little longer. The food was definitely worth the wait and we were brought fresh bread and aioli to keep our hunger at bay. I shared a seafood paella with another adult and we struggled to eat it all. Very tasty and choc full of prawns, muscles and squid. Nomnom! Other dishes ordered were the Ox burger - with a hole cut out the bun and an egg popped in! Lamb chops in green garlic sauce and a ham and cheese omelette. Then, as we paid the bill they (discreetly) asked if we minded if they gave the children a lolly and if we’d like a little drink of some sort of liquor (apple or pear brandy?) It came out in miniature bottles and finished the meal beautifully.I would highly recommend eating here to anyone and we will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

We love Al Natural, especially their spelt option for pizzas and their use of natural and organic ingredients. The crust is nice and thin and perfectly cooked in their fantastic oven. They have Turia and Estrella beers on tap (some of the best beers in Spain), and we especially love their hummus, Barbecoa Pizza and Jamon and Setas Pizza, each on spelt. The people are also especially nice and welcoming. We will definitely be regulars here! Many thanks AmaliaVida for such a generous comment. We are very happy to know that you are fan of our food expecially of our spelt pizzas and we would love to seeing you soon again!

Verdeando Eco

Something a bit different but not really for me. Chef was great Recommending what to order but it was very expensive for what it was and all a bit rich especially the leek quiche it was much like Re like leek lasagne to meThe best answer for you to know "Verdeando eco" and the way you work is an "opinion" that for us is a "very deep reflection of the pillars for which Verdeando eco exists"...-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------LIKE THIS RESTAURANT, THERE IS NONE!It's my first review on Tripadvisor. I do not like the internet or the social network shopping websites or anything like it. However, I decided to take the first step to express my gratitude to this project. I have worked 40 years in the tourism industry; I owned a couple of restaurants I know this industry very well. I visited at this restaurant by chance. I was spending a few days in Denia, one afternoon I was with a friend at the Las Brisas Center, to have a drink. Inadvertently, I saw Verdeando. That same night I went to dinner ... when I finished I could see what was said by the waiter. From the moment you enter this place, you know that it is much different than usual. The attentive waiter told us about our table, then he introduced us to the Restaurant (He showed us the premises they have, a brief introduction of how they cook, the form, and ingredients that they use). It is a place with energy, charm, and above all real and congruent with its premises ... what makes this restaurant different from all the others—I say all because nobody puts so much to a business (I HAVE FIRST HAND). It is ecofriendly, the take-away containers are biodegradable and the straws are made of recycled cardboard. The paper of the baths are recycled. Titanium pots 50% steamed oven Whole meals. They don’t not use refined salt nor refined sugar. TO SPECIFY: setting up a business like a restaurant has many expenses by itself. If I add the above as a differentiating factor, it is very difficult to see it as a business. It is more I would not own it or have ever crossed my mind that I have known during my 40 years of experience have seen it. I can only think that what is in this project is love and a lot of disinterested love. From its kitchen where they prioritize in quality, to the ethics of the environment in which we live. This is truly BRAVE! It is for all the above expressed, that led me to write this opinion, also because I was so excited that made me feel ashamed for everything that the human being including ME. We can generate more profits, lower quality and sell gold when what we sell is straws. I have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to make known the true humility, and give every human being a seed of your project, which in me has caused gratitude and hope in changing so much evil and cruelty towards other species. Everything we ate was very accomplished and achieved, face the diner may seem simple, too simple and easy, but I tell you that I worked in tourism to reach such simplicity without losing strength the dish is true GENIUS!. I hope to have the pleasure of returning one day to visit you. Muchísimas gracias por habernos visitado...
