Macizo del Montgo Natural Park

The park has numerous hiking trails and a lot are fairly easy going. You can of course attempt to climb Montgo mountain but a much shorter and easier route is the trail leading up from Javea port area to the lighthouse headland, from where you can look across to Ibiza island. If hiking on the far side of the Denia/Javea road then you’ll get great views inland and along the coast in both directions, although you will need to keep an eye open for frequent piles of dog mesh:-( Regardless of your fitness level I strongly suggest wearing appropriate footwear and taking water.

This is a great route for cycling, walking, jogging Etc. Traffic free and goes through quite flat terrain. Mostly Tarmac with a few parts that have not been tarmaced. Not much shade so make sure you take plenty of water and a hat. Signpost outlining wild flowers and points if interest, this is built on an old railway line.

Miles of sandy, quite clean and uncrowded beach. The depth of the sea increases slightly, therefore, it is sufficiently safe for children. The waves were also small, so the pits did not occur. It was easy to find a place for a car. However, it was June, it is not known what happens in July-August.

Although not Very large, it more looks like à big vitrine, which will make adults long for their childhood and children for real toys instead of computergames. Definitely good for a lazy afternoon.
