Tried the new fish sandwich. This was on an ad on TV recently. The bread is a tasty Cibata roll. The fish and the sauce with the roll were just great. Also tried the hand battered onion rings. These are also a delight. It is a nice change to get fresh onion rings. I am sure there are many other great items to choose. I just can't get off the fish sandwich and try them.

Our chef was great and that really can make or break a visit to a hibachi grill. He made great jokes. Original jokes we hadn't heard 100x's before. He picked on my son for only ordering sushi (which we all got a kick out of)! He was very talented with his tricks, and his food was great. They don't use cheap chicken thighs when you order a chicken entree, and I really appreciate that. The filet was a nice cut of beef that tasted very fresh. Our waiter was attentive and refilling drinks constantly. We all enjoyed our experience at dinner that night. It is pricey but it's a dinner and a show so with that in mind it's well worth it!

Weatherford, Texas is not anywhere near the coast. So, imagine my surprise when they served up the yummiest shrimp cocktail and butterfly shrimp basket Iâve had since moving to the metroplex area. (Sorry, Flying Fish.) The cocktail had several large shrimp, chunks of avocado, and just the right amount of spice/heat. The basket included addicting Cajun fries, fresh cole slaw, and hush puppies (the only item I wasnât wowed by). Be certain to get the bang bang sauce. I even asked for some to take home. Looking forward to returning and sampling more items on the menu...

Go on Tuesday and hear Kelly Blues sing, play guitar, harmonica and percussion. Reboot your zen. The lobster bisque is outstanding. Fish and chips cooked thoroughly not burnt anywhere.

We had an outstanding experience. Our group had a private room, an outstanding waitress, the food was excellent, the wine choices plenty. Everyone loved their meals. The lobster roll and fish and chips were popular among the men. The ladies loved the trout. Their menu choices are plenty, and all served perfectly. This is my second time in two years, and we'll be going back.

Fire Oak Grill is a jewel near central old town Weatherford and the courthouse. All small Texas towns have gorgeous courthouses and the restaurant is view of the courthouse. I always order the steak and I love it. I have not found the wine selection to be as elegant as the prices. I like to be surprised by outstanding wines for money.
