We stopped late after driving over 500 miles. We both had sandwiches. Hubby had a buffalo chicken sandwich. He loved it! Almost licked the plate. I had ice tea, which was NOT good. No amount of sweetener would help. I also had the Old Fashioned Burger. It was really good, but the fries were way too salty. The service was great!

Fun little place at the Marina on Lake Weatherford. Shipwreck is located at the marina on Lake Weatherford, Texas. It has a great spot where you can watch the comings and goings at the only public boat ramp on Lake Weatherford. They recently remodeled what was not a bad place and they really have spiffed it up. No longer is it a fishing shack that served good cheap food and burgers, they spiffed it up. The owner is very attentive and service was truly outstanding. We ordered "to-go" and enjoyed a beverage while waiting. They have a nice dining room and a compact patio-I heard they may bring back music. The patio is pretty nice and if I were eating on site, I'd eat out there. Great selection of beer and I think the owner would get any kind of beer you suggest. The burger was very good with a generous patty and a nice bunch of fries. The chicken sliders were OK. Just OK, but they are listed as an appetizer and not a meal. The beef on the burger is "wagu" and it was tasty. It should be as it was kinda spendy for the lake and with the malt shop and outskirtz close by, I suppose they had to do something to distinguish themselves-the comfy beer aspect would do it alone. They don't offer a growler refill station but it could be coming. I didn't give it 5 stars due to the price.

The food was actually quite good, the house margaritas were excellent. The would have gotten at least 3 if not 4 from me if it had not been for everything else and this was not just us.. it was an entire block of tables not on the patio. They had 4 staff covering 6 tables inside however they were also covering tables on the patio where the band was. As a whole we (people inside) were ignored. Staff would clean off the table and not return with check, glasses were not kept full, chips would go empty, they were just not seen to remind. The final for me was a couple that came in and say across from us. after 20 minutes of no drinks he went to the bar and got drinks, then the manager showed up and was surprised there was not a waitress assigned. He assigned one after he said he would take care of them. 10 minutes later he came to talk to us but had not taken care of the other people first. This was just a fiasco.

Son-in-law and I went to watch a football game and I was less than impressed. A 20 minute wait on the hostess was followed by limited beer choices (unless you drink theirs). They advertise large hot pretzels but they turned out to be pizza dough shaped crudely like one - major disappoint. The pizza that followed was mediocre and the place is very loud. If you want a conversation over beer and pizza this is not the place.

Go on Tuesday and hear Kelly Blues sing, play guitar, harmonica and percussion. Reboot your zen. The lobster bisque is outstanding. Fish and chips cooked thoroughly not burnt anywhere.

We had an outstanding experience. Our group had a private room, an outstanding waitress, the food was excellent, the wine choices plenty. Everyone loved their meals. The lobster roll and fish and chips were popular among the men. The ladies loved the trout. Their menu choices are plenty, and all served perfectly. This is my second time in two years, and we'll be going back.

I loved this restaurant just 2 short weeks ago. Everything about it was great...food, drinks, service, cleanliness, patio seating. Now, just a couple of weeks later, it was completely the opposite. Rude service with zero knowledge of menu items, greasy and inedible food, and just an uncomfortable experience all the way around. Unfortunately, is has turned into just another Weatherford, TX restaurant with such broad inconsistencies that we won't be returning anytime soon. Puzzled by the apparent lack of wait staff training of late...

Great Craft Beer. Selection is outstanding. Pizza was very tasty but on the small side for the money. Too much for one (in many cases) and too small for two (most cases). Serve yourself at the window. 4 people serving the bar. One inside. One outside. 2 standing around watching. Inside seating is almost non-existent. Outdoor pub atmosphere with misters and fans. Above 85 but comfortable. Disappointing that itâs a smoking environment. Not enough room to get away from it.

This is the third Rio Mambo restaurant we have visited. They have all provided good service and delivered excellent food. This visit we tried the Mal's Pollo Pablo, and the verde sauce was creamy and delicious. It has become our go-to place for Mexican food.

After seeing our eye doc, was time for lunch. Sheps was real close and we liked their food and service. This trip was no exception. Very friendly and courteous service with very reasonable prices. Our waitress without any fuss, had our burger cut in two (something we do now in our age), and split mushrooms and onion rings into 1/2 order each. Nice place to eat but can get pretty crowded. Will return for sure when in this neighborhood. Thank you!
