Reviewed By SVTortugaQuinta da Alcaidaria Mor offers authentic charm, comfortable accommodations, and easy access to many of Portugal’s outstanding heritage sites (Convento de Cristo, Alcabaca, Batalha, and more) plus areas of natural and cultural appeal. The estate has been in the host’s family for centuries, and he offers terrific insights and recommendations for area attractions. Breakfast is outstanding, and we enjoyed seeing the farm’s blueberry fields and friendly resident cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, and sheep. There is plenty to see and do year round for couples, families, or small groups, and we plan to return soon.

Nice building in the old town

Breakfast is ok if you don't hesitate to order what you want (omelette, any sort of eggs....) which is not at the buffet. Not happy to see that restaurant was closed in August..,, quite strange for a touristic place. Service is as minimum. The pool area is nice with a nice view but swimming pool not heated.

Reviewed By carlosmorais1949Espaços públicos e quarto muito limpos. Decoração extremamente simples (ex. inexistência de TV no quarto). Pequeno almoço com muito pouca variedade ... quase espartano, sendo uma falha grave a ausência de fruta.
