Decoration : pure elegant simplicity
Service : perfect ( cannot add more )
Food : traditional portuguese food with a sophisticated touch . Beware of the quantities, really big
We chose the cod, one of Portugal gastronomical treats, and the veal, both were really good and tasty
Desserts : all of them very good
Cannot forget the wine , if you like white wine, the Soalheiro is simply magnificent
Perfect meal !

The O Convite Hotel's Restaurant has been run by the same family for nearly 50 years. It's personal touch is visible in every detail, in it's careful management or in the fragrance of fresh flowers at each table. Chef Emília, who founded the restaurant, has left its legacy that the current Chefs honor: the best ingredients of local suppliers who have strong and ancient ties to the restaurant are favored: from fresh fish that arrives daily from Nazaré beach to fresh herbs from the hotel's aromatic garden. A diverse menu with good Portuguese wines and the excellence of the traditional Portuguese pastry makes this restaurant a place to choose for your meal if you are visiting Fatima Shrine or the center of the country. The Restaurant has been highly reviewed for many years and it was mentioned in the Michelin Guide 2018 as offering an "Optimal level" of service. There is a kid's menu, baby chairs and crockery suitable for the little ones.

This was a simple restaurant with an easy menu and good selection of wines, the food was tasty and plenty. Good and friendly service. We all tried different dishes and everyone was pleased. Good place to stop in Fatima.

We had the best restaurant experience since our 10 days in Portugal. Words cannot describe the level of service and quality of food that we received. Absolutely amazing. The grilled sea bass as a whole fish done at the back of the restaurant on a charcoal grill was to die for and fed the four of us. We also added a veal steak done in a hot stone at our table so we could cook the way we wanted. The steak was excellent and shared by all four of us. The sides were plentiful with lots of variety. The fresh tomato salad was the best. The whole family touches you from the time you get there to the time you leave. Mom is the chef. English is not an issue as the family understands and speaks well. Also, the wine was excellent as selected by Pedro who was one of our servers. Daughter, Estrellah was super conscientious and made us feel so welcome. The cost was very affordable as we dined with locals. We felt we had a family meal in our own house. I cannot say enough. Highly recommended. Five stars!!! Also, we took a taxi from the Pousada and it was a short 10 minute drive. Everyone still talking this morning about the epic experience.

Just minutes from the Sanctuary of our Lady of Fatima, this restaurant surprised us with welcoming and very accommodating staff. Fantastic meats were served in large proportions are tender and delicious! The shrimps are large with the right amount of seasoning are definitely the best. The pitcher of house wine (just 6 Euros) made us want to come back to this place. We all left the restaurant full and contended.
I highly recommend this place.

We were passingthrough Ourem on our way to Tomar and noticed all the cars outside this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We certainly weren't disappointed, there was a menu in english and we had really tasty grilled chicken and mixed grilled meats, lots of veg, salad and excellent, very good value wine. The coffee and home made Deserts were good too.Very friendly staff, go there if you're nearby !

We now have a house for rent. We are happy to wellcome families or couples. The house has 7 single beds, a big private garden with pool and barbacue. We also have some facilities to have children around. We provide meal with or without the help of the guests and we also bake bread in the wooden oven. Thank you!

This is a very small traditional restaurant, where the owner (a former English and French teacher) does everything herself. Since we did not know what to choose, the owner served some of everything she had prepared, all traditional Portuguese dishes, including Deserts and home made aperitif, wine and digestif.
Meanwhile, we talked with the owner about her life, life in Portugal, the economy, the area, ....
We spent a wonderful evening in this little restaurant.

This restaurant is definitely one of the bests I visited in Portugal. Stuff is really nice (including the owner, who is always welcoming people with big smile) and food is excellent! No additional words needed, as I can continue only in superlatives. Definitely recommended.

Lovely place... An old medieval prison with friendly staff. The meal was incredible. The starters include goat cheese, "farinheira", blood chouriço a and chouriço. "caldo verde" was the soup and a amazing cod.... Really nice red wine... Beautiful view from a prison...
