Sada's Sushi & Izakaya

Our group had beef curry and a rice bowl. All the food was good and they accommodate allergies and additions to dishes. Miso soup was good, atmosphere interesting. We didn’t get to try the sushi but it looked delicious. Tables and menus could be cleaner, although it wasn’t terrible. Service was slow but friendly and helpful. Would eat there again.

Aomatsu Japanese Restaurant

I went to this restaurant with two others on October 5, 2017. I had sushi, my wife had tempura udon and my friend had teriyaki chicken; a broad spectrum of offerings at this restaurant. I ordered the standard set sushi with california roll and they were awful. Rice seemed to have been made yesterday (stale and hard to digest) and the fish was sub-mediocre. My wife's tempura udon was awful; the shrimp was just a limp soggy mess and the udon was terrible. My fired/s teriyaki chicken was awful- just a big unappetizing plate that could have fed 6......but tasted bland and uninteresting. Komatsu used to be the best in town. Now its the worst. Try Sada.

10 yrs ago they set up in another location and failed. The sushi was awful then even though the little boats were cute. They retooled and rethought and now they are back at this new location. The sushi is somewhat better but it's kinda random to just grab stuff as it goes by. They have done away with the boats. It's one step above a vending machine and one step below dining. Easy to grab and go if it's not too crowded.

This place is a great place for a bento box lunch. I thought that there were many options. I had the basic teriyaki chicken bento box and every bit of it was good. I think I might have licked the plate.Plus, the service was quick and friendly. The place is small, but ample for the lunch crowd. It's nice and bright. I thought their prices were reasonable and I didn't go away hungry.I would go again. Plus, I notice they do a good take-out business as well.
