Enjoyable Lebanese restaurant with food with a difference. The dish I ordered was zucchinis stuffed with minced lamb and rice in a tomato sauce. It was yummy and something I have never had before. My partner ordered a type of pilaf with sliced lamb, also yummy. Their were a few interesting sounding vegetarian dishes as well. A belly dancer came in at about 8.00pm, a bit of fun as she got others up dancing.

After so many years this place continues to amaze!Great atmosphere and incredible food. We shared the Haloumi starter then had stuffed squid and the fish dish. All were incredible. The wine list has some interesting and well priced options with some cocktails Iâd like to come back and try. All the that and great service, thank you Arabesque!

Before moving to the west, we used to eat here a lot so couldn't visit Melb without a visit to Almazett. It is still a great showcase for Lebanese dishes. I wish I could get broad beans to taste as good as they are here! We had about 6 of the starter dishes, mostly vegetarian choices plus the meat cigars - all good and then kibbi, chicken souvlaki and the whole baked fish for mains. It was plenty for the 5 of us and a very happy experience. The bill was very reasonable.

The mixed grill plate with the salad combo's of red cabbage, mushroom, chickpea and silverbeet and lastly lentil rice is incredible. Top it with tarama dip and labnah. This delightful gem is unpretentious and busy with locals loyalists. The service is excellent. I miss having my coffee cup read after baclava however it's fun to make up our own reading. Worth a visit to eat in or a Friday night takeaway. And BYO.
