We had a great night with two other couples. Everyone enjoyed the food and the ambiance was really great. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive but never intrusive. It was great to have a proper timber dining table to eat at, rather than a wobbly cafe table. We shared a selection of savoury dishes with rice and wholemeal rotis. The servings were generous and the food was not oily or heavily salted. The Lal Mohan desert my wife and I shared was also very nice. The only downside is that we were having such a good time we stayed so long the timber chairs started to feel uncomfortable, whereas initially they were fine.

The blonde waitress (forgot to ask her name) on Wednesday night, was the most attentive service Iâve had in Melbourne, she catered to all of our needs and had a lively upbeat personality Canât say a bad thing about my dining experience :)Hello Zoe, We're glad to hear you enjoyed your recent experience at Tokyo Tina! We pride ourselves on delivering the best service and we'll be sure to relay that feedback on :) We can't wait to see you back down again soon! Tokyo Tina.

Great little restaurant that has been an institution in Brighton for years. Never has the standard dropped with food or service. Has a function room upstairs that is perfect for small medium parties etc. Their lunch special is excellent value and delicious. Canât go wrong here.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at an old favourite today, Chinta Ria Soul. When I say old favourite, it was in the late 90âs that I used to frequent this establishment almost weekly.Service today was warm & genuine and the food was exceptional.Interesting wine list and great value overall, it was great to be back!

I love Dandelion! It's my go to place for special occasions, and somewhere I will always take visitors to, especially if they are from interstate or overseas. The food is just wonderful, the service excellent, the ambience terrific. You have to book early, as it's always busy, to get the table you want, and it's certainly and expensive place, but it's worth it. Especially for special occasions. And it was this time for me - a birthday dinner. Once again, just lovely food, great service, not too noisy and a quiet ambience. We ordered a serve each of the crab spring roll in lattice rice paper, with lettuce and herb wrap and also one each of the green rice fried Tiger prawn also with lettuce and herb wrap. So delicious! Then a main course to share - Bahn Xeo - turmeric coconut pancake with pork and crab salad, ginger, bean sprouts, herbs and lettuce wrap and a side of lotus leaf wrapped fried rice with egg and vegetable. We were also going to get a smaller dish to share, but our kind waiter advised against it - what we ordered would be more than enough, and it was!!! Usually youâd be subject to upselling - not this time! I was most impressed. A glass of Shiraz for each, and we left satisfied and amply fed!

A small, atmospheric restaurant serving top quality food. One can leave here with an expensive Bill, however in our group of 8 we ordered two Entrees to share, four Mains to share with a large bowl of special rice plus a large bowl of vegetables and nothing more was needed....apart from a delightful Alto Aldige white from the north of Italy and a Paringa Peninsula pinot. My companion thought that the Bill was reasonable for such fine dining.

What else can you think in the cold weather outside when you'd like to eat spicy food, of course it's a Thai food. The place is pretty small, they probably have around 12 - 15 table for 2 persons.Interior design wasn't really fancy, it feels like home and humbly looking vibe. It's an open kitchen close to customer's seats, therefore when they keep cooking / have many orders, the place becomes very hot and smokey.I suggest this place is meant for a take away food rather than dine in as it's very loud and noisy, almost impossible to have a comfortable conversation with your mates. The service was alright and really fast; The customer staffs were very efficient. We ordered :* Chicken Pad Thai for $11.00 & Beef Pad Thai for $11.00 *** 2.5/5.0* Seafood Salad (seafood combo with lemon juice, chilli, mint, cucumber, coriander, lettuce and red onion) for $9.00 *** 3.0/5.0* Tom Yum soup (Thai hot & sour soup) for $7.00 *** 3.0/5.0* Thai fried rice (chicken) - mild spicy for $10.00 *** 4.0/5.0The portion of each dish was very generous and the price was relatively cheaper compared to other Thai restaurants. When we're waiting for our food, we saw that many take away orders made. They have more than 10 staffs working on that day considerably for a small shop. It's very busy restaurant because it's really good deal for a Thai food in this portion. We found that the Pad Thai was too sweet and the taste for both Pad Thai chicken & beef were lack of balance.Pad Thai would be my benchmark for a Thai restaurant. If you have no idea what to order in the Thai restaurant, just go with Pad Thai and you wouldn't go wrong. We were pretty pessimistic to try other dishes as soon as we found out the Pad Thai wasn't really good.Surprisingly, the Thai Fried rice was really good and tasty; We loved the Pad thai fried rice and it's the winner on that day. However, it was just too oily. If they reduce the oil used to cook Fried Rice, definitely it's perfect. The other dishes (Seafood Salad and Tom Yum) were average, we didn't find any special nor enjoy it. The quality for the food was alright, it's not the best.Overall, This place is very recommended if you are looking for a good deal Thai food with generous portion without concerning too much about the quality of the food.In reality, I figure it out that many people do not care too much about the taste of the food as long as they have a good deal.Recommended food : Thai Fried riceService : 2.5Taste : 2.5Price : 3.0Speed : 3.5Yay : Thai Fried rice, free serve chilli *no additional chargeNay : Too oily, Pad Thai was too sweet, Tom Yum soup wasn't

Such amazing food, especially the watermelon martini and the salmon tacos. The corn ball special also really good. Quick good and fantastic service the waiters/ waitress all really friendly. A little loud but a younger vibe. Pricey but not too ridiculous and worth the amazingness of the food. Canât wait to return!

Really interesting food in a small setting . A good range of small, medium and large dishes. Our favourites were fish amok; scotch fillet and the spiced cauliflower side. Very reasonably priced wine list from small wineries. Strongly recommend. Also consider the chefâs tasting menu.

Great local restaurant. We have been there a multiple time. Once with kids, and three other times with friends.Food was great, except for one time, when we ordered Salt & the Pepper Squid Salad. Squid wasn't good, it has a smell. We return it, but they didn't offer us anything else and charged us for it...We will definitely will go there again, but no squid for us next time :)
