Greeted warmly by a Parisian.This is the place to be.You have several dining options for seating.Normal Table seatingKitchen Bar seatingPrivate dining area for a small group.The food and service has been has been consistently good.My only disappointment is they no longer have my favourite dessert"Strawberries and cream"I had to have the OranginaHopefully it will be back on the menu.The hotel has a character of it's own.Will be back to have the Sunday Set menu.Thank you for your lovely feedback. This is my local cafe - across the road from work - such a welcome discovery! The best coffee I've had, real, beautiful hot chocolate & a great menu with standard smashed Avo to delicious specialty French crepes. Always service with a smile & lovely atmosphere too.

On a cold wintry night in May we were here as a couple for a Birthday celebration. Although a Saturday night no problems on noise as the inside restaurant only seats around 24 patrons. Originally a cafe the restaurant was introduced only some 12 months ago. It is extremely intimate although you are in full view & share the kitchen.The food here is excellent with a limited choice but great quality.We shared the scallops dish as an entree (must do dish) with my wife having fish of the day whilst I had the Duck confit. Both very tasty & ample quantity. Wine here is very affordable at $10 a glass. We spent $172 plus tip. Parking is good but you need to book.Staff is really wonderful & helpful.we will return.Dear Roger,Serving lovely, discerning diners and then receiving such praise from them, as you have done for us, is highly motivating and makes all of our efforts and convictions worthwhile. Chez Olivier at its new location is really singing! Our experience was great from beginning to end. Service is efficient and timely and very friendly (all the waiting staff had a smile ready). An interesting menu: we had a goats cheese entre wrapped in filo surrounded by a light salad, followed by the confit of duck. Both were delicious and well balanced. The wine list was adequate, although I would have expected to see a few more Burgundy wines on the list. No table cloths but it did have cloth napkins. The restaurant was very popular on the night we were there, and rightly so. A top destination.

Bistro Thierry delivered a great experience for our special occasion. Met warmly at the door, we were shown to a good table and assisted with some parcels and jackets. We had actually looked at the online menu (both food and wine) and decided what we wanted, so ordering was easy. Drinks were served quickly and with friendly efficiency. The fit out of Thierry's is something of a draw card in itself - certainly takes you to Paris! Our food was top quality - particularly the lamb shoulder: melt in the mouth texture. I can see why it is rated so highly, and would certainly support that.We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your BT experience.
