We stopped in this past Friday evening thinking we could get a quick served hot meal and head to a high school ballgame across town. I knew something didn't look right when we ordered. About 4 people sitting bench waiting for their order and about 4 couples in dining area without any food. Yet, there was a ton of food in the warming trays ready to be served. The family next to us finally got there food but one persons plate was fish and they had ordered chicken. The lady at that tables turned to me and said, "if you want your food you will have to up there and make them give it to you, they will forget about you and never bring it ". I watched this same thing occur with 2 other tables of customers. I watched the 2 young ladies working behind the counter for 20 minutes. She was clueless to doing her job and stayed totally confused and never accomplished anything, tho there was plenty of prepared food ready to be placed into plates and sent out to waiting customers. She would start one task, screw it up, and never fix it. Then move on to something else and repeat another screwup. I got my refund and left before I lost my temper.

Now I know why there are not many cars here! Many items on the menu aren't available as the waitress reported because the purchaser didn't get around to buying the food. According to the very nice and kind staff, it's hard to keep help because they get tired of making excuses, so they go elsewhere to work. I know that in the summer the place is hot and in the winter it is cold because the owner remotely sets the thermostat. I kept trying to give them a chance to do better thinking that this problem was an isolated incident. Not so! No more. I'd rather go hungry than return.

Have been living in Korea and missing visits to Waffle House. We came in to eat and noticed that omelets were no longer on the menu. After our breakfast was served and our waitress was stopping by our table to refill our coffee I asked why omelets were no longer offered. She told me that there are now 3 menus, a short menu, a $5 menu and the long menu. I told her we live in Korea and that I was looking forward to an omelet. I explained I ordered a pecan waffle, my second favorite thing on the menu when I noticed that omelets were missing from the menu. A few minutes later she served me an omelet as a surprise! Such a friendly, nice thing to do!!! We gave her a nice tip when we left.

The subway was right behind the hotel, what a great convenience, it is also inside a convenience store so I was able to buy some needed items while there.
