We visited on a Sunday evening, had not reserved, but there were plenty of tables. We had the tenderloin and the sirloin which both were cooked to perfection, ie as we want it. Served with fried new potatoes and vegetables. The only slight complaint was that the sauces were served in tiny cups, would have liked more and if we had asked, I am sure we would have been given more. Lovely, old rustic decoration. A little anonymous on the outside, so make sure you donât miss it.

I visited the restaurant for dinner on a Tuesday evening and there were only a few guests that evening. We were a group of 6 and were given a table next to the steps that lead downstairs. Unfortunately downstairs there was a meeting and at times it got rather noisy. This was irritating, why didn't they give us a better table knowing this? The food was good. We had reindeer and we all enjoyed it. This is my second visit to this restaurant and on both occasions the food has been very good. In the bar they have an impressive whisky selection. This is a good place for dinner if you like meat.

Me and my family visited Amado for dinner and we were quite satisfied. However the staff was weird and most of the waiters and waitresses were rude, I do not know why. We had already sat down and ordered drinks when they told us they were out of burgers (3 of us would have ordered them), this obviously should have been told beforehand! Eventually we all found something from the menu and placed our orders and headed to the salad buffet which seemed to be a joke. Dry lettuce, dry bread and bitter sauce. The only good thing on the buffet were the delicious olives. Finally we got out food and gladly almost everything was tasty! My dish, barcelona pork, wasn't anything special or anything I couldn't make at home. It was overcooked and soaking in the not so delicious sauce. At least the potatoes were great! From our group the steaks and the fish got the best reviews.
