Restaurant staff were friendly and inviting and food was great. This was one of the only places around that you could just have a drink and soak up the great atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced and was always busy when we were in or just passed by. Well worth a visit if you are staying over that side of town.

Great meal, very imaginative. We had various set menus, all excellent. The soup at pistou had a tomato sorbet...not sure the cold was my favorite, but interesting. Ile flotant a twist on an old standard, too. We sat outside, watched the world go by, and also visited the kitchen. Clean, friendly, lovely. Walked to castle afterwards.

But not worth 4 or 5 stars. Had a hamburger and pizza. Not sure how it got such great ratings but then we just came from Spain where the value is much better.
