It's a relatively new place in Shakopee. Put up after smoking was banned in restaurants it has no smoke smell for a pub -- that's a bonus. Interesting toppings on the burgers... although they may not be ground in house. And the craft beer selection is good.

We have been here for Happy Hour and had great experiences. We tried it for lunch today, our waitress was attentive and took our order and then we waited for over a half an hour for our food and she never checked on us to let us know why our food wasn't coming. The food was very average.

Easy walk from Lake Minnetonka. In a cute down town area, with unique little boutiques.Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. We enjoyed some good craft beers and appetizers. The nachos were very good and so were the tacos and cheese curds. If you are looking for a relaxing, no-frills place to eat in Excelsior, this is it.

We kept the old handcrafted favorites: the signature burgers, sandwiches, hand cut fries. Just wait until you see the 1880's bar and enjoy our happy hour specials Monday - Friday from 3-6 and 2-5 on weekends. Bring the family, the friends, the neighbors.
The Gold Nugget is a great place for a burger and fries. Lots of different brews as well. They are now open for brunch as well, so things are really cooking at this place.. Locally owned as well.

Opening weekend, so expected a few glitches. Crowded. People excited to be there. Ordered a flight of four craft beers. Two of the four were half full! Expanation was the taps needed to be changed out. Said she would fix it when tap change out.Had our beers and dinner. As we were getting ready to leave, noted she did not fix the order. Then give me another half beer. Guess 2 x 1/2 does equal one. Low class. Advice - never serve beer drinkers half beers! Good luck.

Very busy place! The service was good except that the food came rather slowly. The food was ok, better than average. Lots of menu options. Prices were average. The Monte Cristo sandwich at Turtle's is not deep fried like that sandwich usually is - it was more like french toast batter then the meat/cheese added to the middle. The raspberry dipping sauce that came with the sandwich was Ok.. The meat quality of the burger was good, but the overall burger was just Ok. The fries were the crinkle cut style.

Stopped in, on a Friday night. Had a flight of beers. Interesting selections. I enjoyed them all. Place was laid back. Busy and bustling. Dogs are allowed. Had the option to order pizza from next door, so we did! It's ok to bring your own food in. The ladies next to us had a whole munchies bar set up! Live music was great. Will have to go back in summer and sit on the patio!!

Great location for Chanhassen Theatre goers but loved by Locals alike is Brindisi's pub. It's a small place with lots of heart and generally packs a good crowd. The bar caters to all Clientele while the food caters mostly to locals not attending the dinner theatre or those who choose to have variety before the show. I would say the food was good, but really enjoyed the atmosphere and nice drink specials. Step back into this retro pub and have a good time!

I was in town for a class at the Arboretum. Decided to take in the Lenten Fish Fry at the Legion. We were seated family style and had a serve yourself all you can eat ($12) lightly breaded Pollock with potato salad, coleslaw, German potato salad. We were seated by Boy Scout troop number 330 and got to be served by them and met some very nice local people and had a great meal which would otherwise have been a little slower paced while waiting in town for my meeting tomorrow.

Local Tavern located at the cross section of Hwy 5 and county road 4. Tavern style food open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. The place where everyone knows your name!
While visiting family in Minnesota we were taken here for lunch. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. Nice selection of food on the menu including vegetarian options, great beer selection on tap and terrific service. Whenever we visit MN we try to get some Walleye and they had a few choices.I started with the "I Just Want a Small Salad" and it was anything but small. I went for their Walleye Fish and Chips (I rarely eat fried fish but this was a treat) and they were absolutely delicious! Prices were fair and the quality of food was very good. Also our waitress was EXCELLENT! I'm sory I forgot her name! Definitely will be back the next time we are in MN.Thank you for the great compliments! We are so glad that you enjoyed your dining experience with us! We love that you rarely eat fish but loved our fish and chips! We look forward to seeing you again when you come back through town!
