My family and I have been going to Detellos in Eden Prairie and Chaska for over 40 years. Whether you enjoy thin crust or deep dish, you will like their offerings. Their cheese bread is also great.

We stopped in here after going to Ice Castles - it was perfect for our group of 11. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu - plus there was a childrenâs menu. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad - it was big enough to share. I had the spaghetti and meatballs & my husband had the lasagna. Both were good. He liked his more than I liked mine. We shared a cannoli for desert - I have had better. It was an average restaurant with very friendly staff.

This place is very good with everything from the welcoming hostess thru the buss staff. Our server, Katherine, was very attentive w/o being intrusive and made some great suggestions. The assisting staff were pleasant, attentive and very professional and polite. The evening started out with being seated outside with cocktails where we enjoyed a wonderful offering of fresh Italian Bread and creamy butter. The outdoor seating is very nice with large canvas umbrellas, lights, and beautiful floral; heat lamps are available when needed. There's also ample indoor seating and a bar area. We were there on couples nite which is a great value 4-course meal offering for $55 per couple--however we ordered off theRegular menu. The spaghetti and meatballswere very good with a sweeter sauce to themwhich reminded me of my great gramma roses homemade sauce from Iron River Michigan. My husband had the fettuccine w shrimp and cauliflower in a tasty homemade tomato basilsauce. We finished the meal by sharing their ever popular tiramisu with chocolate shavings and fresh raspberries . Very creamy and good -- and not like your average tiramisu. We will definitely go back when we are in the area.

What a restaurant! I've never seen anything like it - so fun. We had good service, the food was excellent and abundant! Although you pay for that abundance... It was very pricey for two people. They suggest that you can enjoy the left-overs, but for tourists that doesn't work out so great. The quality of the food justified the price, but we were paying for an extra potion we didn't need. I understand the whole family theme and why they make you order that way, but it did make it awkward for a dinner for two. But if you're a larger group, this place would be an excellent choice. Get the pope table!One note - probably the best marinara sauce I've had (or at least among the best). Which to me is a great sign- if they care about sauce that much, it bears well for other dishes as well.Thank you, patrickd747, for the terrific review! I've ordered delivery twice, and both were terribly disappointing. I've been eating at Davanni's since the mid-1980's, so I know they have been around and can do well.Pizza and cheese bread were delivered cold and soggy. The pizza ingredients were so sparse it may not have been the pizza we ordered. All for $31, before a drive tip. Not a good value.First time was a half-hoagie and spicy wings at lunch time. Same thing, expensive and showed up cold and soggy.I hope this new store will get it together, but we won't be going back for a while.

Lived within 2 miles of the Eden Prairie location for the past 20 years. Itâs my place for thin crust pizza. Always friendly as they know me by name. Pasta with cheesy garlic bread is also great. Both my kids grew up on the high quality food they have served!

We visited on Friday, April 13, 2012 at noon. We came here because someone had come around our office handing out menus and coupons for this place. Having never been here we thought we would give a local place a try. There are 3 locations in the metro Twin Cities. These are strictly take-out places, no seating at all.If you follow my reviews you know that my wife is a native of the Philadelphia area and I lived there for 10 years. Therefore, we think we know good pizza. This was the most terrible tasting pizza we have ever had, any time, anywhere, period. We had lousy pizza in Fort Meyers, but this place in Minnesota is the champ of bad pizza. We ordered a large "New York Style" cheese pizza. The crust was no where near foldable; it was thick as bread dough and some areas were under cooked. The sauce was very flat tasting and there was far too much volume of this red "stuff". The cheese was a mix of mozzarella and (can you believe?) CHEDDAR!?!?!? The taste of this pizza was metalic and chemical and an off-putting mouth texture. $11.99 for 14" pizza plus tax.We threw this away in the garbage. Never again!
