What a fabulous place MaMa's is! From the moment we walked in we were made to feel so welcome and were looked after so very well by the very lovely Signe, that this was an absolute highlight of what was a wonderful trip to Latvia.The restaurant itself is stunningly decorated. Unfortunately my photos of it are refusing to load here, but check out their website and you will see what I mean. Also, they take 'Dog friendly' to a whole new level (see the doggie chairs!)The food is amazing too. How a simple avocado salad came taste so fabulous I just don't know, but my starter was one of the most delicious salads I can ever remember eating. The salmon I had for my main course was superb as well.Another special mention for Signe who could not have been more helpful or friendly and she made our visit extra special. Would dearly love to stay here one of these days as they have bedrooms too.Simply wonderful!

We were a group of 32, mostly pensioners, having a pre-set 3-course lunch. The restaurant was booked for 13.00hrs, although we were ready to eat at about 12.30 we were not allowed in beforehand. (I think they missed out on some drinks business there). The tables were for groupd of 2 to 6 People, and seating was either quite low (as ours was) or too high, but we all managed. The Food was excellent, nicely presented, and served with a smile. There was only one gents and one ladies toilet so it became a bit of a queue.

Visited the restaurant for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant was nicely booked, like it ussually is on weekends. We booked a table only this morning, good that they still had vacant tables. The food was alright. Nothing fancy, but alright. I was expecting a better choice of foods, because they mostly served various salads, sandwiches and pancakes. The only fish was salmon, which ran out quickly and the kitchen didnt hurry to fill it up. So, it was ok, but just ok, for 18 eur/pax.

Here we ate quite Latvian style food which was prepared carefully and were very tasty and delicious. I can recommend this restaurant and the prices were very reasonable. Here you can have even pizzas.

Excellent food and view. Taste + location + service = a place to go for a fine dining. I was there with 2 kids and didnt feel uncomfy, however would be great to have some playcorner.
