Terrible service, bad food.
Reviewed By suntheflowerWent there yesterday with my family and the food wasn’t eatable... It was cold and really bad... Don’t recommend it. The service was bad, the waiter spilled a soup on me and just went away, didn’t even apologise. They didn’t have almost anything from the menu. Won’t be going there again!

Pizza is also available, which the children were excited about. Next to the lake and a very beautiful recreation area

The camping Ozolkalns is located right next to the banks of the Gauja river, near Ski and Recreation Park Ozolkalns in the middle of Gauja National park (Enter Gauja). During summer it is in a very convenient location for those who are taking boat rides down the Gauja river. Near by is the Adventure park Supervavere. In wintertime it is located 200 m apart from Ski resort Ozolkalns ski slopes which are longest in Latvia and reach 500 m each. The campsite has 6 heated cabins each ment for 4 - 5 people - also may be used during wintertime. Each house has two bedrooms - and a shared bathroom. Possible to accommodate 26 + guests. Reviewed By anarhitektsVisited Ozolkalns downhill slopes on January 17, 2021, as one can imagine it is the very Covid-19 time. The slopes were maintained in very good condition. BUT none of the personnel (except one guy at the ski rent) cared using face masks as they should during the Covid outbreak - and I am talking about the guys who interacted directly with the customers an breathed directly in their face. It is a pity that a resort that has such a good downhill slopes works contrary to the basic public health measures during the pandemic.

Reviewed By GitaSilmaleExcellent place to escape from city live and enjoy peace, nature, and still with ALL facilities, even if you are camping - wc, showers, coffee vending machine. They have even fully equipped kitchen with all necessary cutlery and crockery. Boats and water-bikes available for all to enjoy water ride, well prepared entrance to lake for swim, playground (and I mean real big playground) for kids, fenced, from natural wood. Perfect for families! I could go on and on!

Idyllic watermill
Reviewed By kriaKucuru dzirnavas is a lovingly built and managed nest of hospitality in the middle of Latvia. It has a small guest house and several separate cabins. Guests can swim in a clear pond and relax in green grass under shady trees. Plenty of wildlife right over the doorstep. The town Madona is a 20 min drive.

Reviewed By Martins VThis hotel is cheap and comfortable. Even no breakfast is available in the hotel it is located just in 1 kilometer from the city centre and cafe "Pasēdētuve" is opened from 8.00. Right near the hotel is located something like meteor crater and warm lake
