No menu card - you just choose what you like and the chef made it. Very quit area in the middle of “nowhere” Host family was very nice, friendly and indeed service minded..

The accommodation is situated in ethnographical, more than hundred years old, renovated log buildings. Some rooms have a lake view and private bathroom facilities, as well as a kitchen or a kitchenette. Reviewed By MartinRHorGungas is a collection of 6 traditional Latvian old log houses and a sauna set in the woods beside a lake only 25km from the centre of Latvia’s beautiful varietal city, Riga. Each house was brought there piece by piece from around Latvia, although old they are modern and comfortable inside. To take advantage of the lake for recreation or fishing they provide 2 rowing boats and 2 Canadian type canoes. There is a pontoon with a swim ladder making a swim in the lake an easy pleasure. The Latvian sauna is a treat as is the wood fired hot tub. It is a peaceful romantic getaway for a couple or fantastic for a family holiday. The houses are well spaced which allows plenty of privacy. I understand they also arrange traditional Latvian wedding rituals which must be wonderful. Although peacefully set in the woods in country beside a beautiful lake it is only a short trip to enjoy the beauty of Riga. Latvia is a largely undiscovered gem and deserves a visit and is a refreshing change from the crowds of the med and Southern Europe.

Reviewed By Margus jVery friendly host. Rooms are clean and nice. Grilling area with all tools needed was there. Sauna and hottub was super. Negative was that room were little bit damp. Price level is very cheap. Livingroom with 3 king size beds, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and small front room - 40-50€ per night

Отдельные домики, можно с животными, причем если вы уезжаете хозяин кемпинга готов присмотреть за вашей жирностью (за что ему огромное спасибо) Все чистенько и уютненько, есть кухня (отапливается зимой), туалет (отапливается зимой), WIFI берет в домике без проблем, есть холодильник и чайник, а также стол (это все в домике). Очень порадовали матрасы на кроватях - спина просто отдыхает :) Хозяин просто отличный человек - сэкономил нам немало денег, порекомендовал где кушать и парковать машину в Риге бесплатно (это целая проблема для тех кто не в курсе, все парков платные). Мы были зимой и нам все понравилось, но я бы рекомендовал этот кемпинг посетить летом, поздней весной или ранней осенью. Он расположен на реке в лесном массиве, так что романтика и единение с природой - уверен вы точно не пожалеете. Так же там можно взять в аренду: квадроциклы, лодки, поиграть в активные игры типа футбола, для детей есть детская площадка.

Nice walk s on the beach.Free parking, free reliable WiFi. Beautiful viens of the nature and sounds of sea. Breakfast avaikable or in most apartment well ecquipt kitchen ēst are avaikable. Mairita- receptionist is true treasure- very kind and helpful. Nothing was difficult for her to resolve on be half of the guest. Loved every minūtē of our stay in Saimniekmaja apartment.

Reviewed By 642ievamAbsolutely the best camping in Latvia and one of the best in Baltics! Silence and peace in the arms of nature. Wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Camping is well acomodated, clean and very comfortable staying with tents and campers, also has beautiful eco houses to stay in. They have kayaks on campsite which is very conveniant, so you can go exploring Gauja National park straight away. I definitely recomend to come and stay.

Terrible customer service and communication
Reviewed By Justina NI have booked glamping for 4 people, paid in advance received confirmation letter. However upon arrival as it was later than working hours as instructed I called the host and received a surprise that the host made a mistake and there is no room for me and my friends. The host was very unprofessional considering the fact that it was 22:00 and we had no place to spend the night. Furthermore he did not aggree to provide us with any type of accomodation and did not offer any help. He even thought it was appropriate to make jokes and invite people to his place. I would never come back and not reccomend this place necause of their unprofessional behavior. I do understand everybody makes mistakes, but operating in this industry you have to take responsibility for your actions!

The best place for camping
Reviewed By 620birgitvThe place has three camping houses and unlimited area for tents. There is a common kitchen with several appliances, bathroom and toilet for men and women separately. Sauna and barrel sauna are for extra charge. You can use a paddle boat for free. A fireplace outside, as well as two movable grilling spots. Lots of things for children as well. Perfect place for 12 people with kids!
