Normally I try to avoid hotel restaurants, and tend more towards going out, but I the case of View, I do like to make an exception.If you're in the mood for something special/good, and not travelling on a budget, I do recommend View, they just serve some very great dishes here, and I recommend to listen to the waiter, for his/her recommendation - that never turned out bad for me.And if you're in the mood for steaks, don't worry either, also here I have only had pleasant experiances at viewThank You very much for Your time and review to our restaurant "VIEW"! Iâm always visiting this place when Iâm in Jurmala - great coffee, tasty cakes and pastries, friendly atmosphere and also itâs super affordable. When the weather is good, there is a terrace on 3rd floor where you can have a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Highly recommended!

We had a late lunch here, kids took a pizza which was nice looking and tasteful. I took burger which was really good, only negative thing regarding the burger that I couldn't change french fries to sweet potatoes... My wife took pasta with spinach and mussels which also looks really good and fresh, she likes it too.Overall the terrace was really nice, food is good, service level could be better in general but all in all recommended. Here we ate quite Latvian style food which was prepared carefully and were very tasty and delicious. I can recommend this restaurant and the prices were very reasonable. Here you can have even pizzas.

Excellent food and view. Taste + location + service = a place to go for a fine dining. I was there with 2 kids and didnt feel uncomfy, however would be great to have some playcorner.

We highly recommend this place rof dinner. Really tasty food. We tried juicy steak and shashlyk. Both were well prepared, tasty and juicy service is on high level. Weathers and kitchen working fast and well. After word âyou will need to wait for second dishesâ we were thinking it will take 30-40 mins, but it arrived max in 15 min and smell was unbelievable. We stayed a half day at the restaurant and enjoyed nice food and service. 6 of US left there a couple of hundred Euros in food and drinks.Unfortunately, the restaurant disappointed when leaving. After paying we went outside, sitting on their sun-beds while waiting for our taxi when being approached by one of their waiters asking for 15⬠per sun-bed or to leave. This was 3 min after having settled the bill at 18.30 in the afternoon on a cold but sunny day without anyone around using the sun beds! There were no apologies after complaining inside the restaurant to the waiter, who happily accepted minutes before a gracious tip when settling the bill.This experience completely messed up all the good food and service delivered and made this place just another average but expensive restaurant without any feeling for good customer service. I wonât recommend this place if you are looking for an experience beyond average...

Classy, but relaxed interior and furnishing. Very kind and attentive staff. Kitchen definitely with a chef, preparing dishes with care and knowledge. Menu concentrating on classical Spanish cooking with freshness and quality of the ingredients in focus. Seafood of stunningly good quality.Comprehensive wine list handled by educated sommelier.Probably one of the best - if not the best, at least in Lielupe - restaurants in touristic Jurmala where you stumble on fries and burgers in every corner. The review is not about the quality of the food but about the treatement of guests.We came there for breakfast (total 4). We were told that there is a brunch starting at 11 only. 16 euros per person, kids 8.- (5-12 years)We had one twelve year old and one older kid but not very hungry so we asked if its OK to charge us for 2 adults and 2 kids as it was early, we will leave quickly and dont eat much - waiter agreed.Also we didnt steal anyones seat as not many people were there yet.30mins later we were done and asked for the bill... ...we were charged 4x16 euros. Nobody knew from the agreement, 5-12 years meant â12 excludedâ so should öay 64 euros for food worth maybe 15... and a coffee.As we didnt want to be in trouble at this place we paid... but just so you all know: food here will be good but expensive.Dear, guest.We are sorry for this misunderstanding and are sorry that visit to our restaurant did not leave you a positive impression.Thanks for the detailed feedback,Your comments help us to do our best, because every guest are very important for us.
