Reviewed By livermagpieWe stayed for one night in a double room. The room was clean and spacious. The decor and bathroom can do with some refurbishment, however considering it as a 3-star hotel and the price paid, it was perfectly fine. The receptionist suggested a good place for dinner in the old town which is a couple of minutes away on foot. Breakfast was fine. In terms of accessibility, it's important to note that no lift is available.

Reviewed By Lints1234I don't recomend this restaurant. The chef is awful and the food for the price is really bad. Though I have to say the waitress were really helpful and the beer was great.Avoid this place at any cost and choose other place if possible.

An excellent place from which to explore the region
Reviewed By PeterandRobin2014We wanted to visit the Gauja National Park, and we chose Cesis as a base from which to do this. This hotel was just what we wanted: it is not a luxury hotel, but our room was clean and well-appointed, and our bed very comfortatable. The staff were very friendly, although we were glad that we had learned a few words of Latvian, as this made communication significantly easier. We should also mention the splendid breakfasts. We came downstairs to a magnificent spread of bread, cheese, meat, fruit and fresh eggs on both mornings that we were there. We came to Cesis by car (I suspect that it might be rather hard to get there by public transport), but the hotel has plenty of parking spaces. On the other hand, the hotel is very central - just a short walk away (through a pretty park) from the historic centre of the town. In short, if you wish to explore the Gauja National Park, this is a great base from which to do so.

Reviewed By TimoP646Excellent location and extremely helpful and friendly english speaking staff. My room was modern, nice and clean. I was bit early in town but since my room was ready, I was able to check-in. The hotel is located in the main street and everything is in walking distance.

This cosy guesthouse on the outskirts of Sigulda offers ideal conditions for a wide variety of winter and summer sports. Surrounded by a peaceful natural landscape, the Reinis is only a 10-minute drive away from the town centre, Turaida Castle and the Gauja Valley. All rooms are individually designed and offer great views of the Reina hill. Bicycle rental for a day is included in the price. The Reinis Guesthouse features a lounge for games and dances, a seminar room, and a relaxation area with sauna, indoor pool and fireplace. In summer, activities include golf at the adjacent Reina golf course (9 holes), cycling, mountain boarding and canoeing in a 500-metre canal. There also is a trampoline. In winter the guesthouse is next to Reina trase, Latvia's premier winter sports centre. Here you can find perfect conditions for snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Activities in the vicinity include bungee jumping and tobogganing, as well as visiting the Tarzan Adventure Park and the Aerodium, a vertical wind tunnel.
Beautiful place with super golf course
Reviewed By Liia PHaving spent time on multiple golf courses in Baltics this is one I wold recommend especially if you’re passing by. Beautiful spacious rooms with balconies will pleasantly surprise even the picky ones. Golf course is very clean and fun to play - picturesque views around the course and fairways wide enough for less experienced players to enjoy the game.

Hotel "Benevilla" is located in the historical center in Aluksne, near the Aluksne lake. From the rooms of the hotel can be seen beautiful views, including Aluksne`s Lutheran church, Culture centre, art school, lake. Nearby is also located Aluksne`s castle island or "Marijas" island; from it it is possible to reach "Tempļakalns" park by a pedestrian bridge. Nearby are also located Aluksne`s New castle and park. The hotel has 6 rooms with all amenities, of which one room has a large balcony. It is also possible to reserve dinner in the hotel hall and reserve the hall for a celebration. The cafe offers from own grown fruits and berries made ice creams and cocktails, sparkling beverages, as well as self-made pizzas, cakes, coffee and more.

A very elegant, comfortable, clean small hotel where you breath the warm atmosphere created by the owners Aina and Aivars., located in the heart of Alūksnes. The beauty of the hotel where wood is the king, the elegant rooms, the excellent breakfast and delicious dinners with homemade cakes and bio vegetables & fruit produced by the owners, the beautiful bar/cafeteria (divine Lavazza expresso and cappuccino) the kindness and cordiality of the staff together with the enchanting natural beauties of the town are the reasons why I recommend this fantastic hotel . I will come back !

Reviewed By intaa2021A lovely place to stay,nice,warm and clean rooms. Heated bathroom floors. Rooms cleaned daily. Asked for permission to change bed sheets and tidy up. Child friendly. Good variety of food for breakfast bufet . Lovely and polite members of staff. Could do with a sealing light as our room only had small bedsit lamps. Would also be nice to have a matt in the shower itself. Beds are nice and comfortable. Tv doesn't have much channels to choose from would be nice to have more of a variety but as we don't watch much of TV it didnt matter as much it was only for some late evenings. Will be coming back in the future ? Plenty of space for car parking. Ouh we did experience a bit of a down side one evening. We had to travel in and out and it has only one entrance to the hotel by car. One evening there was a show going on and other people coming in and out of the drive way. when we wanted to leave we had to wait ages to get out,cars just kept coming and coming,staff didnt pay attention to us wanting to leave ,they didnt stop the cars so we could get out,they didnt direct cars to one side so we could get out,the cars coming in drove in the middle,staff stood in middle talking to them. we literally had to force out way out.. better management needed. other than that nice place to stay
