Rajbhog is a collection of authentic recipes that have been passed down for generations. The brilliant dishes we have today reflect India's dedication and passion for the culinary arts. We strive to provide both a Indian as well as Indo Chinese with every
Authentic, fragrant, spicy Indian food. We enjoy ethnic meals with our Raleigh kids, and you know it's a good Indian restaurant when there's an Indian clientele. Our kids had the vegetable biryani and my husband and I shared the lamb biryani. We also enjoyed an order of vegetable momos as appetizers, and two orders of garlic naan with our meals. Service is efficient and unobtrusive. When the kids (daughter and husband) asked for spice level to be "as hot as the Indian chef eats his", the waiter was a little worried, but they were very happy with the level of heat :)

Great place for those unfamiliar with Indian food who want to try things there are "Indian light" selections like Tika Masala and Butter Chicken, but also the real deal for those that are more adventurous. I went there today with my 13 year old daughter for lunch and as usual the place is full of actual Indian folks which is always a good sigh. The buffet is reasonably priced at $12 for a very high quality selection. Unlike many area buffets, the hot food is kept hot, and the cold food is kept cold. I frequent this place at lunch time with co-workers and on weekends with my kiddo. They do goat well, and the vegetarian selections are great too, Killer Muttar dishes. And dont skio dessert, always the bomb,

Finally got a chance to try out their lunch buffet this weekend. a good number of choices without overwhelming as in godavari. food is at the correct temperature ( which has become a major issue with godavari unless you happen to be there right when the buffet opens ) Good choice of appetizers, entres and desserts. worth the money. will keep going back. Some of the items might be too spicy for kids.

We came upon this restaurant unexpectedly based on a recommendation of a local. We ordered the south central combo (Idly & Vada) to start and opted to share the malai kofta (vegaterian dumpling in the most divine sauce) and the chicken congura. We love indian food but the tyoical restaurant fare is typically from N India. So i wanted to chose dishes that we would not normally order. We were served promptly. Service was great. I was a little worried because there was hardly anyone around, but as our evening progressed more people arrived. I thought that the food was excellent with wonderful layers of flavor. The chicken congura seemed more stew like than curry like. The Malai Kofta was superb. We ended up over eating and took the unfinished portions as take out. I would love to return- i want to eat more vada (like a savory lentil like donut) and Iâd like to try their Dosaâs. I would definitely order the Malai Kofta again.

Dharani is a fine dining restaurant. We heard a lot of good reviews of Dharani and went to check their dinner menu. The ambiance was good...the service was excellent..and was told how soon our order would come by. We were adventurous and ordered the restaurant special "Chicken Sukha". It was undeniably the best ethnic chicken dish I have ever had ...scintillating on our taste buds. The naan was good, chicken tikka masala was alright...the special did not disappoint us. The restaurant was almost full for dinner service mid-week on a rainy day - that in itself tells a lot of the place! Will come back again the next time we are in North Carolina!

My niece was won over by the cauliflower appetizer. She said cauliflower had no flavor. The Nazara cauliflower was packed with flavor and served with a delicious sauce. The pineapple appetizer was not quite my cup of tea but it was well prepared. We ordered three entrees. Two would have been plenty for the 3 of us. The goat curry came with a load of bones just like it does in India, Our service was attentive and helpful in answering questions. My wife and I enjoyed the leftovers for lunch today.

Tower Restaurant is one of the few vegetarian only restaurants in the Research Triangle. They specialise in South Indian food (and also serve North Indian food) and are famous for their unlimited buffets. The food is really good. We went for the buffet and there were a lot of items - idlis, dosas (which they serve to your table), vadas, rasam, sambar, lemon rice, Hyderabadi biryani, beetroot halwa, curd rice, ... The halwa, biryani and rasam were awesome! Some of the food may have been made using canned veggies and they run out of some items during the service and replace it with other items. The buffets on weekends have more sweets and items. The best thing about the restaurant is the price. For the price, it is an awesome unlimited meal. The owner is nice and friendly. but the staff isn't the most welcoming. There is ample parking.

10 vegetable pakoras for $5.00! Can't beat that price. They were awesome but the dipping sauces were a bit bland. The Cauliflower Manchurian was another hit. Lightly battered, fried to perfection. For our main courses we had the Mango Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Tasty, but our complaint is with the spiciness. We like spicy and were given 3 choices - mild, medium, and hot. We ordered one medium and one hot. We found the hot to be barely medium spicy and the medium to be on the mild side. Since we were the only non-Indians in the restaurant, perhaps they thought the gringos couldn't handle hot. Some reviewers complained about the pricing. I found the main courses to be consistently $2.00 less than what one would pay at Indian restaurants in Raleigh. The apps were cheaper as well. Perhaps these reviewers are comparing to other restaurants in Little India (Morrisville). I don't go to Morrisville often enough to make that comparison. The restaurant is open until 10:00 P.M. nightly. Unheard of in this part of the world. Most places are closed by 9:00 on weekdays.
