The regional name originated after the 1959 creation of the Research Triangle Park, located midway between the cities of Raleigh and Durham. The Research Triangle region encompasses the U.S. Census Bureau's Combined Statistical Area (CSA) of Raleigh-Durham-Cary. The estimated population of the Raleigh-Durham-Cary CSA was 1,565,223 as of July 1, 2006, with the Raleigh-Cary Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) portion estimated at 994,551 residents. The headquarters of multinational Lenovo are located in the municipal limits (the other headquarters of the company is located in Beijing, China).

A friend convinced me to meet her here for lunch. We both had the pork. It was DELICIOUS! I brought home beef for my husband and he loved it. Service was efficient and warm. The Tres Leches cake was lovely for dessert.

Menu organization is confusing causing one to take too long trying to decide and not take too long. The food is expensive for a line up and order restaurant even with a Groupon coupon. Two people $32 is like a sit down and order place. I felt taken advantage of. The food offering was average in type and taste. It appeared that the thrill is the novelty of the food not the type and taste.

I frequent Viva at least once a week if not more...I think I have tried almost everything on the menu to include their Brunch. Almost all the margaritas, but the Paloma and Viva margaritas are my favorites...hmmm...I must also say the Pina is good too.The service is always fantastic, greeted with a smile, no wait and Balu the owner always comes by and chats.I love this place.
