The regional name originated after the 1959 creation of the Research Triangle Park, located midway between the cities of Raleigh and Durham. The Research Triangle region encompasses the U.S. Census Bureau's Combined Statistical Area (CSA) of Raleigh-Durham-Cary. The estimated population of the Raleigh-Durham-Cary CSA was 1,565,223 as of July 1, 2006, with the Raleigh-Cary Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) portion estimated at 994,551 residents. We recently tried this version of Trali as the Brier Creek version is one of our favorites and have eaten there many times. This one lived up to our expectations. Nice varied menu with many Irish favorites plus general American favorites. Good service. Nice pub atmosphere. Recommended.

Ordered a cheeseburger cooked medium. It came out with the juices soaking through the bun and onto my sides. When I cut it in half I noticed the center was cold and completely raw ground beef. The staff brought out a new one and the waitress said it would be removed from the bill. The manager instead came up later and offered free dessert. We declined and wanted the original offer of the burger being completely taken off. After some light arguing with the manager she agreed to remove it from the bill. We spent almost 2 hours here waiting for raw food then the replacement food then our bill to be adjusted. Good zucchini chips though. That's their redeeming quality.I am very disappointed to hear about your experience and we are always concerned if you did not like your food order. Ridiculously small portions at high prices. First time visiting for a quick meal of oysters and house salad. Oysters were big, plump and perfectly steamed - not overdone. Got 1/2 peck and there were plenty - was full. They are served with house made slaw and julienned new potatoes. The slaw and potatoes were great too. The house salad with chicken was just perfect - all the veggies were crisp and fresh and the chicken was seasoned perfectly and hot. I will definitely be back to try other menu items! The waitstaff was friendly and prompt with service.

While the food was not worth the price, it was passable. What made for a poor dining experience was the service. At least my server had obviously never been trained properly. From start to finish, she was under-trained, over-familiar and somewhat rude. I will not return.

Our group of 10 had a hard time communicating because of the rather noisy atmosphere...we even had a time hearing the waitperson who spoke with a slight accent and was extremely prompt, courteous, and accommodating. The food was okay...the spinach salad was very tasty. However, our rib eye was sent back because of large amount of grizzle and fat. The manager was super apologetic and served us a gratis replacement...good form. A confession...my wife is an excellent (nay, outstanding) cook so my perspective is somewhat biased.Chuck - Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience at our Morrisville location. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our service, yet disappointed you did not experience the food quality we aim for initially along with a disappointing noise level. Firebirds has successfully grown because it was founded on, and continues to live by, the highest of standards, and when we fail to exceed the expectations of our guests, it is imperative that we take appropriate corrective measures. This restaurant is in the Park West Village area of Morrisville. Itâs next to the movie theater and across from the common area one with several other restaurants. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining and, even though it was a warm evening, the fans kept a nice breeze and was comfortable. There was a musician playing in the commons and you can enjoy the music from the outdoor seating. Service was great, and the menu has some unique offerings. I had a turkey burger with Brie, bacon and pickles. Excellent! In addition to the traditional sides of fries and chips, they offer coleslaw and fresh fruit. The fruit was very good. Parking is close too! Thank you so much for the love and the stars! We are looking forward to wowing you again soon!
