This is now our regular Indian restaurant, even though it's a 20 minute drive away!Service is always good, polite and rapid; food is of the highest quality.And there are special concessions on Wed and Sun evenings which make for excellent VFM.We use this as both a restaurant and a take-away place.Strongly recommended.

We enjoyed a good value and really tasty meal here. Friendly staff, nice decor, good portion sizes. My only suggestion would be they add more vegan dishes for those who don't do dairy- as ghee is in a lot of the vegetarian dishes. Most Indian restaurants do this as a matter of course and that would increase the non dairy dishes.

Sat 5 Oct 2019, 2100, x2, coupleexcellent venue, good food, friendly serviceJahan is a great host, always very welcoming...Wonderful decor, and great views on a sunny day...We had popadums, starters, mains, plus wine/beer...comfy table/chairs on the dance floor (usually only used on Wed night "bollywood" etc)I had a mixed starter, had veggie samosa - all good!mains: partner had Chicken Tikka Dhansak, to compare to our local (it was her first visit to Tarana), while I had Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi= - both were good, plus sides/rice/naan etc.Personally, I would have preferred my jalfrezi a tad 'hotter', but that's a personal preference, so I will remember to ask for "hotter" next time!other than that, a great evening's meal.

Went with friends & was delightfully surprised - lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere.Staff were attentive & very knowledgeable.The food was amazing!!There is an assortment of Nepalese dishes along with curry favourites.The Nepalese dishes are superb & certainly worth being adventurous.Would highly recommend & can't wait until we go back!

Didnât have time for a sit down meal so opted for a takeaway, excellent food, well presented, right level of spiciest, all very clear from the menu, had to collect as they dont seem to do delivery, but very impressed with food and staff were also super friendly

This is by far the best Indian takeaway in East Grinstead. The food is soooo good and the chefs know how to kick up the heat whilst still retaining flavour, even when you ask for hotter than on the menu.Always friendly delivery and quick from order to door! We ordered a take away from Nizam and hour before we wanted to collect it and still had to wait over half an hour. Very disappointed that not only was the food cold and tasteless but one dish was miss labelled! We phoned to complain and received an apology but certainly won't be using them again!Many thanks for your feedback itâs much appreciated, I always say good or bad it keeps us on our toes. With regards to service last night, the team are aware of your takeaway purchase and the phone call you made. To reiterate unfortunately we where short staffed and this resulted in slow service back of house, of course no excuse but this happens in the hospitality sector. The food was delicious when we finally got it. Our drinks and popadom order arrived quickly but the rest was slower than slow. We had to chase up to order our mains. Then two other groups came in after us and had their food before us, so we chased again. Fortunately the food was delicious

Collected a take away on a Saturday evening instead of eating in the restaurant. I ordered fairly early but I overheard waiting times of over an hour quoted to other take away customers whilst I was waiting to collect mine. The restaurant/kitchen is always busy so ensure you book a table, or order a take away in good time. The service and the quality of the food was excellent as always, so many different dishes to try are on the menu, not just the standard Indian curry dishes. Try the chilli momo starter and the Gurkha rifle curry or the goat curry. The king prawn dishes are always superb. Highly recommend.
