Stay, play and sleep in the heart of a traditional seaside town! Reads Court is a block of recently refurbished apartments and townhouses in the heart of Blackpool resort. It has been providing accommodation for families and couples for over 25 years. Perfectly located to explore many of Blackpool’s top attractions. The apartments and houses cater for a variety of needs, sleeping from anywhere between 2 to 15 people. Some apartments are also on the ground floor with easy access. Each offers individual amenities, but as a rule all have a fully fitted kitchen, shower room, digital television and Wi-Fi. Luxury beds, and fresh linen and towels are provided as standard for all our guests. Reads Court is in a fantastic location, being so close to the town centre and Winter Gardens. Great stay in the ocean apartment
Reviewed By Toni-L-HWe stayed for 1 night at the ocean apartments, very clean and everything you could need, had a lovely time. Hosts where really nice and friendly and gave a warm welcome (and the option of a contactless check in if preferred). Was also contacted first thing in the morning before arrival to say we could check in anytime as it was ready for us which was great as with little ones it made it easy to get sorted and back out to the sites. Great location, would definitely stay again. Thanks!

The onsite manager ensures you have the most enjoyable time and provides local recommendations. Our quality holiday accommodation includes free Wifi access and Freeview in all rooms. Some rooms are equipped with a SmartTV. We have a comfortable sun lounge to the front of the flats for the benefit of all our guests. Ample Free Private Parking is available for all guests to the rear of the flats. PLEASE NOTE THE ENTIRE BUILDING IS NON-SMOKING.

Tim the manager is a really lovely, friendly helpful guy. In quiet area with cafe two minutes walk away, which by the way is also lovely and very friendly owners who we had a laugh with. Would most definitely recommend these apartments, in our eyes 5 star

Amazing Gem of a place
Reviewed By Barbara-Jane MWhat a hidden gem. From start to finish we loved our stay. The place was absolutely immaculate and had everything you could ever need. The sofa bed was made up for us which was a bonus. The bedroom was an excellent size. Kitchen fully stocked with all you need and the added bonus of a hot tub which( was well utilised our stay). An abundance of towels which was fab too. A bottle of Prosecco was also left for us which we enjoyed on our 1st night. Have got to say this was the best place we have stayed in Blackpool. 2-3 minute walk and you are at Coral Island. Parking space also a bonus. We could only book 3 nights and had to move on but next time will book well in advance for a longer stay. Fantastic.

Reviewed By greezmonkeyHad to endure constant loud beeping every 30 seconds from the faulty smoke alarm which kept us awake all night. Reported this issue as soon as we arrived, along with the cleanliness issues and were told someone would come out to fix the smoke alarm. This didn't happen and got some excuse that the maintenance people got caught up in something else. A faulty smoke alarm should have been a priority purely for the safety of their customers but clearly not a priority for them. Had real issues with the cleanliness and general hygiene of this apartment, considering there is a £55 cleaning charge it wasn't very clean. Hairs on the dining table, cushions and sofas, cushions stained. Looks like everything just had a damp cloth run over it. Kitchen had crumbs on the floor and underneath the microwave. We were also given an incorrect code to enter the apartment and couldn't get in and had to sit outside the apartment on the phone to them for about 15 minutes. They even suggested using some force to open the door as they said sometimes people need to do this to get in, which was just ridiculous. Have stayed here before in 2016 and couldn't fault the place but now after this latest experience, I wouldn't go back as not worth the money and wasn't the best experience. With regards to customer service, it was not the best. Said they would call me with regards to the refund I requested but haven't heard back from them and now ignoring my last email. If you are thinking of staying here then I would reconsider as not worth the money and not as how they describe the place on their site. Very disappointing. We certainly won't be back.

Welcome to The Shores Apartments - situated within a minutes walk to The Pleasure Beach, The Sandcastle Water Park, the famous Promenade and Sea Front and a variety of restaurants, casinos and family bars. We have four apartments to choose from set over two floors in an immaculate Victorian semi-detached property offering excellent quality self catering accommodation for 2-4 people.

Location was brilliant Beach/front/tram/bus at the end off the road Costa coffee/Pleasure beach/ Witherspoons pub just round the corner. Would stay again.

Reviewed By Mazzie91Stayed here a few weeks ago, our first little holiday as a family with our little girl. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The hosts were friendly and polite. Lovely little touches from fresh milk, water, biscuits tea and coffee available in your room. Ideal location close to Coral Island and the Tower. Would definitely recommend and already recommending to others as we speak. Thank you for our great weeknd stay! X

Reviewed By Kayleigh HWe stayed for at Dewsbury House for the bank holiday, and loved it. We honestly wouldn't stay anywhere else know. Location is great, walking distance to the attractions and town centre but far away enough to not be disturbed. The room was big, spacious, and incredibly clean. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were all lovely touches. Free parking. Could not recommend Dewsbury House enough !

Still waiting for our refund
Reviewed By mark WWe had a 3 bedroom apartment booked for 3 families, however, when one of our party arrived at the apartment it turned out that the apartment was in fact a 2 bedroom apartment with additional bedding in the communal living room. This is not what sold to us or appropriate for children. We were offered a full refund (this was obviously a common experience). We managed to find another hotel and were told the refund would be paid back to my credit card. After several messages and weeks later we have still not received the refund so we are letting the credit card company deal with this. It should be noted that the owner promised to refund us if we didn’t leave a bad review on Tripadvisor. Well we didn’t get the refund and we do get a true and reflective review! Not a pleasant experience

Lots of well thought of little touches to make the perfect home from home, from toiletries & towels to tea/coffee & milk, nothing has been forgotten to give you the perfect stay! It was my husbands 50th while we were here and Beverley and Duncan surprised him with a lovely balloon and birthday gifts! They certainly go the extra mile! We’ve stayed in many places in Blackpool over the years but this has surpassed them all, we will definitely be back!
