Fabulous choice chosen by good friends for a mid week dinner catch up. Delightful english country pub next to the cricket green with glorious sunsets from lovely outside seating area. The delicious food was swiftly delivered and was freshly cooked. All our needs were catered for by very frienndly staff . Staff very attentive and talked us through all the specials and cocktail options - when we arrived there were no other customers but they offered the same service to all arriving customers. The sangria was lovely and so was the crab/lobster filled pasta I ordered. My partners pizza was a little too oily but he said he still enjoyed it! Would definitely return.

Coffee good and food looked good. We would have tried some but when we asked if pastries were available we were told no and no mention was made of the cookies, flapjacks etc that we saw after we had drunk our coffee. Lost sales and very grumpy unfriendly service.Hi PaulaTerribly sorry that you had a poor experience.
