Went to this place for dinner a few days back.We had excellent quality dishes of pork filet mignon stuffed with tapenade and oven-cooked potatoes and a salad with goat cheese. Both were quite sizable and again delicious. For desserts, we had the home-made chocolate brownie and strawberry tiramisu and both of them were tasty and could tell that the quality of ingredients were high.

The Croustade of Camembert (Filo dough filled with cheese and roasted apples) was perfect for lunch, with a venere rice (risotto like) as side dish. I also tasted the panna Cotta which was allright. The restaurant is well located in the center, offers a sunny terrace and the service is fair. The prices are a bit high though, but the menu is original and I think that's the reason.

We came for a birthday lunch after seeing all the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The lunch menu was good value and the food of a very high standard. Our hosts were very welcoming and offered to speak to us in either French or English. The wheelchair access was excellent - flat in from the car park and a slope to the wheelchair accessible toilet. The wine by the glass was delicious and the highlight of the meal was the perfectly cooked venison but every course was tasty. We will return.

So nice we found this cosy spot! We had lovely entrecote with a very nice honeysauce. The dessert was very good as well. Friendly service and an overwhelming atmosphere!

The style, the atmosphere, the ambiance: all quite Verdon. Our destination was the lake St. Cross, by driving through this village on our way to the lake, we had lunch here. We didn't go for set lunch cause no one really liked duck breast in our group, so I had the only fish dish in the menu, the other two went for boring tagliatelle carbonara and ham salad. My fish was absolutely tasteless and could tell it was frozen. The other two neither praised or criticised their meals, so I guessed they were passable. Two of us had ice-cream as dessert and the bill ended up at 65â¬, and best of all , they took holiday voucher (cheque vacance). The staff were quite polite though, a one-off lunch experience was fine, didn't think we would likely to come back shortly.

A very small restaurant with terrace . The sort of local restaurant serving local home cooked dishes that is now hard to find in Provence where nearly every restaurant serves the same rubbish . This is a two person Bar/ Restaurant .A very friendly owner serving at table with his talented wife in the kitchen . Very small blackboard menu that changes daily . Good cheap house wine. Well worth the climb up to this out of the way village with stunning views over the Lac St Croix . Don't expect a gourmet meal its just good honest local food well cooked .

We stayed here for four days and ate here for three of them The food was that good. The rooms were comfortable and basic French. The family run Hotel was delightful as were they.

Based on a "tripadvisor"sticker on their door we chose this restaurant. We expected a cosy italian restaurant...The Restaurant exist in 2 pieces. We were placed at the left side of the building. There was almost nobody and at the end we were alone.There was no music, staff had to push a smile on their faces.. generally: no ambiance/no cosyness.We ordered basic pasta Bolognese of the house - it was ok - but we ate much better spaghetti before.After finishing dinner, we wanted to leave asap.I recommend: try the right side of the restaurant or go somewhere else.(I Would go somewhere else).

We ate here three times in a week - always good service and great, fresh food. Good for vegetarians too, especially the tasty cannelloni option,and quiche. Loved the house rose too! Good value, friendly, convenient.

We arrived a little late into Moustiers and were trawling around the town looking for a bite to eat at around 2:45pm. Most places had just stopped serving lunch, but this restaurant welcomed us in. We weren't expecting much as it was basically our last option, but we had amazing seats on the shady terrace overlooking what has to be the most panoramic view from any restaurant in the town! The place was empty and the waiter who served us had excellent English (with an English accent... maybe he studied at an international school or has lived in the UK?) We ordered baked Camembert and a tomato tart, both of which were delicious. Plus the obligatory glass of Bau (a sparking Muscat made in nearby Fourcalquier -- yum)!Thanks for your feedback David, We are extremely happy you enjoyed your time here at La Part des Anges.
