It was absolutely poring & it was cool but the welcome was warm & charming at Les Santons. It was so comfortable. The staff were charming.The food was excellent & the advice on what to eat was spot on.We loved it - had a great night.

We ate here on our 3rd night in Moustier. There is only a signpost up a steep lane to signify its existence. Once discovered - it is great! Very small with friendly owner. Food is excellent and cheaper than on main drag around the cascade. We had both our cheapest and best meal in Moustier here.

We had the most choice for vegetarian dinner in this place : Ravioles with parmesan, Pesto and dried tomatoes, huge and generous greek salad, creamy speculoos tiramisu. The terrace definitely offers a better view than the inside. I loved the food and will definitely recommend it to friends

Went to this place for dinner a few days back.We had excellent quality dishes of pork filet mignon stuffed with tapenade and oven-cooked potatoes and a salad with goat cheese. Both were quite sizable and again delicious. For desserts, we had the home-made chocolate brownie and strawberry tiramisu and both of them were tasty and could tell that the quality of ingredients were high.

The Croustade of Camembert (Filo dough filled with cheese and roasted apples) was perfect for lunch, with a venere rice (risotto like) as side dish. I also tasted the panna Cotta which was allright. The restaurant is well located in the center, offers a sunny terrace and the service is fair. The prices are a bit high though, but the menu is original and I think that's the reason.

We came for a birthday lunch after seeing all the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The lunch menu was good value and the food of a very high standard. Our hosts were very welcoming and offered to speak to us in either French or English. The wheelchair access was excellent - flat in from the car park and a slope to the wheelchair accessible toilet. The wine by the glass was delicious and the highlight of the meal was the perfectly cooked venison but every course was tasty. We will return.

Having booked a table and after seating rain starts is not good. We were reseated inside in a restaurant that is all about âvue du Lacâ lake view. Rain stopped during main course why we asked to sit outside during the dessert. The waiter told us ânot possibleâ as they would have to dry all the tables. Suddenly new customers come in and are seated outside - after the table was cleaned. While waiting for the dessert - frustrated - another waiter turns up and ask if we would like the dessert outside. IF WE WOULD! Whispering with the guy that told us no ended up us seated outside. Thank you Maxime - you have a great future ahead of you in service business. By the way - food was great but totally lost in frustration how we were treated. Fix the service focus - and you are back on the block âLe Côté Lacâ.

Based on a "tripadvisor"sticker on their door we chose this restaurant. We expected a cosy italian restaurant...The Restaurant exist in 2 pieces. We were placed at the left side of the building. There was almost nobody and at the end we were alone.There was no music, staff had to push a smile on their faces.. generally: no ambiance/no cosyness.We ordered basic pasta Bolognese of the house - it was ok - but we ate much better spaghetti before.After finishing dinner, we wanted to leave asap.I recommend: try the right side of the restaurant or go somewhere else.(I Would go somewhere else).

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here, it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time and definitely the best meal we have had this entire trip (Switzerland/France/Italy). Our breakfast was included in the room but we didn't end up having breakfast because we were so full from the night before, large portions and everything was outstanding. The setting is also lovely, beautiful tables with great views and ambience. Highly recommend this restaurant! We arrived a little late into Moustiers and were trawling around the town looking for a bite to eat at around 2:45pm. Most places had just stopped serving lunch, but this restaurant welcomed us in. We weren't expecting much as it was basically our last option, but we had amazing seats on the shady terrace overlooking what has to be the most panoramic view from any restaurant in the town! The place was empty and the waiter who served us had excellent English (with an English accent... maybe he studied at an international school or has lived in the UK?) We ordered baked Camembert and a tomato tart, both of which were delicious. Plus the obligatory glass of Bau (a sparking Muscat made in nearby Fourcalquier -- yum)!Thanks for your feedback David, We are extremely happy you enjoyed your time here at La Part des Anges.
