WALL BEES - PANCAKE RESTAURANT Located in the heart of the Verdon Gorges, WALL BEES is in the small hilltop village of ROUGON. From the terrace, you can admire the majestic flight of vultures that nest in the cliffs and in front discover an exceptional an
I'm not sure you'll find a restaurant like this anywhere else in the world. We had our crepes and drank a pitcher of wine as the sun set over the gorge, it was perfect. Only caution - If you don't know that "abeilles" means "bees", be advised if you're allergic or very afraid of them, there are in fact many bees buzzing around.

Cosy Bar-Restaurant in the middle of Europe's biggest Canyon "Les Gorges du Verdon".We offer you during the season, 7days a week, a traditional menu and also a snack menu for those who are in a rush to go climbing, hiking or any of the multiple activities
Based on a "tripadvisor"sticker on their door we chose this restaurant. We expected a cosy italian restaurant...The Restaurant exist in 2 pieces. We were placed at the left side of the building. There was almost nobody and at the end we were alone. There was no music, staff had to push a smile on their faces.. generally: no ambiance/no cosyness. We ordered basic pasta Bolognese of the house - it was ok - but we ate much better spaghetti before. After finishing dinner, we wanted to leave asap.I recommend: try the right side of the restaurant or go somewhere else.(I Would go somewhere else).

If you like crepes or you would like to visit such a typical french type of restaurant Le Tilleul is a good choice. We hiked Sentier Martel in Gorges du Verdon and after the exciting and difficult walk we visited this restaurant located just 30 metres from the central crossroad with parking in the village (go to the right). Service was quick and helpful (also in English), crepes were very tasty with many possible variants of preparation. Price really fabourable. Perfect rest and meal after the hike.

Traditional cuisine boasting the best of local goodness bursts with sunny flavours and aromas: a wide selection of dishes and some special dailies, with many Provençal specialities crafted with season-fresh ingredients. Enjoy it all in the spacious dining
We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here, it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time and definitely the best meal we have had this entire trip (Switzerland/France/Italy). Our breakfast was included in the room but we didn't end up having breakfast because we were so full from the night before, large portions and everything was outstanding. The setting is also lovely, beautiful tables with great views and ambience. Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you so much for this nice review! We look forward to welcoming you again for a next trip,Soizic Bogliorio

Innovative restaurant with homemade and fast cuisine, freshly renovated, with a nice terrasse and a lovely bistrot style dining room. In the center of the village, ideal to have lunch while visiting the verdon canyon
Drove into La Palud sure Verdon about 8.30 last night. The restraunt at the junction looked really busy. Parked the car opposite Hotel Provence and Le Styx. It only had three tables occupied, so on the basis service would be quick went in.Lemon Styx seems to be the restraunt for the hotel. Reasonable menu, not bad prices, clean and friendly. We did get quick service and were soon sitting with a bowl of the soup of the day, a massive serving. My wife had fish and chips, no complaints. I had the any record and chips, nice tender piece of meat, well trimmed. A coke and a glass of wine, all came in at 62 euros.Pleasant English speaking server. Not fancy, but good food and good value.

Sitting on the balcony terrace with a cold (locally brewed) beer and gazing around at the best view in all of the gorges was a magical hour. We didn't eat but the food looked fabulous and all home cooked plus everywhere was spotlessly clean. Do not miss this place.

We ate here three times in a week - always good service and great, fresh food. Good for vegetarians too, especially the tasty cannelloni option, and quiche. Loved the house rose too! Good value, friendly, convenient.

La Part des Anges is modeled on Spanish Tapas restaurant with a shared-eating concept. We aim to serve only the freshest ingredients, sourced locally and ethically as possible. Located in a 12th century hotel, the terrace offers a nice view on Moustier's
We arrived a little late into Moustiers and were trawling around the town looking for a bite to eat at around 2:45pm. Most places had just stopped serving lunch, but this restaurant welcomed us in. We weren't expecting much as it was basically our last option, but we had amazing seats on the shady terrace overlooking what has to be the most panoramic view from any restaurant in the town! The place was empty and the waiter who served us had excellent English (with an English accent... maybe he studied at an international school or has lived in the UK?) We ordered baked Camembert and a tomato tart, both of which were delicious. Plus the obligatory glass of Bau (a sparking Muscat made in nearby Fourcalquier -- yum)! Thanks for your feedback David, We are extremely happy you enjoyed your time here at La Part des Anges.
