I stayed in Tsehay Hotel in Jan. 2019. The rooms are quite simple and clean. The price I would say very reasonable. They have lovely garden and awesome soursop juice. The place also serve both national and international dishes. The staff is helpful and makes you feel at home. Next time I am in Dire Dawa the first thing I want to do is to enjoy their soursop juice.

The MA Hotel is a new hotel in Dire Dawa, catering for guests looking for a peaceful, relaxing experience. The MA Hotel offers a large outdoor area offering poolside dining, drinks and entertainment, from a varied menu of local and European cuisine. The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the international airport, allowing immediate relief from your flight.
This hotel location is very good and near to airport. Ambiance is beautiful. Cool and calm family place. Staff is dedicated and service friendly. Food options are limited but tasty. Pool side restaurant is amazing. Good place to spend time with family and friends.

Very cozy and clean accomodation with 10 standard rooms with clean shower inside and broadband WiFi connection. Simply it's your humble home away from home.
This is by far the best place to stay in dire dawa. It's cozy, green and very clean and of course very fair price. Location is very great that one can get taxi at the main gate. Anybody who wants to stay in dire dawa alon or with his/her families, I highly recommend eden guest house.

Best restaurant, service in Diredawa! It has 24 hrs service. Breakfast as wonderful.good Wi-Fi . Clean area, good sweeping pool. Also the price is very cheap compared to the new hotels with poor service.

I had a very bad service from the hotel employees that starts from the gate, to reception and everyone. I had a bed they call it the best one but had toilet water flashing issues, no elevator but given room on 4th floor and also the hotel lacks sanitation. I never want to stay there

You should avoid this place. The cleanliness is less than average. They were playing very loud party music in the hotel on a Monday evening until 2 a.m the following day. When asked, the hotel staff said that’s a usual practice. The service in the restaurant is average, but good luck finding a free table, especially around noon.

Overpriced at 500/night sharing the room with cockroaches and hundreds of mosquitoes without mosquito net (malaria region). Worst though that the shower did not work and how this was handled by the staff. We went to reception 5 times at night, were always promised "10 minutes, 20 minutes, 5 minutes...". Then asked to speak the manager who never came. Next day we asked for a refund as the shower was still not working. We talked to multiple staff who were all unfriendly, didn't care about helping us and just laughed at us. We spent about another 1h waiting around for the manager, noone giving us updates. We were basically just left sitting around. The manager, once she showed up, was equally unfriendly and just said "it wasn't their problem" that the shower didn't work. Well, who's problem then!?? In the end we got a ridiculous 50 birr back, which they then asked back again at which stage we just left. Worst hotel in whole Ethiopia we stayed in, especially for that price!!

Reasonably priced facility. Specialist in Ethiopia meat dishes within DireDawa. Room facilities require more attention due frequent breakdown. WiFi is always slow if not unreliable. However, have friendly and homely attention. Could be better.....

arrived in dire dawa without accommodations hoping to get a room at the samrat --- several hotels were full as the president was in town. the samrat was very helpful in calling hotels for us, and when they found rooms for us at the Just Inn, it was about 4-5 down their list so we weren't too confident it would be nice. after a 5 min tuk tuk ride we pulled into this surprisingly pleasant place on a quiet street. was quite new, about 10 small cottage-like rooms. each had their own clean bathroom and rooms were very clean and tidy --- and came with functional wi-fi too! only 250 birr ($12 USD) a night --- great price for the quality of the room. 20 min walk to main part of town but tuk tuks are cheap and plentiful in dire dawa (and part of the experience) --- would recommend getting the phone # of a driver you like and use them as your "regular" --- generally better prices that way. i would highly recommend this place.
