Nyala Hotel it is one of the modern, well secured and comfortable hotels in the historical city of Aksum. Our hotel was established in june 2018. Nyala Hotel is a city central hotel situated very close to the Axum city Market, in three minutes walking distance from the Axum Obelisk and 7 minutes of drive from Axum airport (8Km).
Friendly stuff and convenient location
Reviewed By AE174A refreshing stop after traveling the Tigray countryside. Clean rooms, good beds, hot shower and very accommodating staff and manager. Walking distance to Ezana Garden and many restaurants and cafes in the area.

Clean hotel--with hustler.
Reviewed By HancockStreetA great spot for backpackers. Clean single rooms for 200 BIRR. Friendly staff. That said, the hotel is overrun with hustlers, trying aggressively to sell various services to gain a commission. They have access to the hotel lobby. One of them, Esayas Iegese made various false representations of the services he offered to me, and is not trustworthy.

Reviewed By Caroline vEen hele goede plek om te overnachten in shire endaselassie. Erg schone kamers. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. En iets wat ook erg prettig is. Rustig in de nacht. Niet te dicht bij de moskee en kerken die ‘s nachts vanaf de torens roepen en zingen. Ook niet al te dicht bij de rumoerige uitgaansgelegenheden, maar dicht genoeg bij het centrum. In tegenstelling tot wat de omschrijving doet vermoeden ligt het in shire endaselassie en niet in axum

ESSENZIALITA' CON QUALCHE COMFORT

Il personale è cortese e disponibile; le stanze del secondo piano sono nuove ed essenziali, dotate di bagno con doccia calda; manca però un armadio dove riporre gli effetti personali. La pulizia è abbastanza buona ed effettuata ogni giorno. Il cambio di lenzuola ed asciugamani è effettuato frequentemente. La colazione continentale non è sempre garantita. L'hotel è situato vicino alla chiesa di Santa Maria per cui il sabato notte si sentono preghiere e inni religiosi diffusi da altoparlanti. Qualche fastidio può derivare anche dalla vicinanza di locali pubblici con musica a volume alto. Ad Adwa il Soloda è una delle poche sistemazioni accettabili per gli standard occidentali.

Close to the bus terminal but terrible plumbing
Reviewed By fidelisblueThe best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the bus terminal but not right at the terminal. The buses usually depart at daybreak so this feature is very desirable. There is hot water in the shower but it also got into the toilet tank. The drains in bathroom are clogged and water seeped into the bedroom. Staff did not speak much English. The restaurant food has a lot to desire for.
