Absolutely horrible experience
Reviewed By MaxJr2Warning for credit card scam ⚠️ Many months after our stay at the Awassa Heron hotell we found out that the Hotel was still withdrawing money from our accounts. We have called the police on them and are now waitting for an investigation to take place. Its absolutely the worst experience of our stay in Ethiopia so far. Nerver again!

Reviewed By brinoeWir bekamen den Schlüssel mit der Nummer 86 und konnten unsere Bleibe erst gar nicht finden. Es war eine riesige Suite mit Küche, Wohn- und Esszimmer, drei riesigen Schlafzimmern, drei frisch renovierten Bädern, einem riesigen Jacuzzi und einem kleine privaten Aussenpool. Offensichtlich war die Anlage voll ausgebucht. Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht und das Wasser war nur lauwarm. Die Anlage hätte einen riesigen Pool, ein Fitnesscenter, mehrere Bars und tolle Aussenterrassen mit einem grandiosen Blick auf den Abaya und den Chamo See. Das Hotel hieß früher übrigens Swaynes Hotel.

business hotel in downtown location
Reviewed By travelibThere are three Lewi places in town, the upmarket resort, a downmarket one and this is in the middle, the rooms are generally OK, but a lot of the technology no longer works, this meant moving to a new room, when the bedight light control wouldn't allow some lights to work. In the new room all lights apart from 2 worked, and an electrician came to repair the bedside light. He eventually ran a cable to the other side of the bed, sticking bare wires into the socket and declaring this lethal solution a repair! Food was OK, the location means this is only good for. Quick overnight stop. Our tip, check everything functions before accepting your room. Oh there were bed-bugs!

Reviewed By 917zsThe bath room smell bad and not clean,I will not recommend this hotel.Hard to get towel and towel is not clean. The building looks very old and dirty. It doesn't look like a Hotel cleaned on daily, while I arrived there there was a mobile phone charging in the toilet
