Great value for money.
Reviewed By notpaid123We stayed two nights here,it was so cheap I didn't really understand at first. Breakfast outside in a sunlit courtyard,copious and tasty. Very helpful manager, At 1200 ETB / 24 USdollars a night for a huge room this was excellent value.

Excellent resort hotel
Reviewed By 67mulugetatI stayed at this resort hotel at the end of April for 2 days. I was truly impressed with the view and scenery as well as the amenities. The rooms were spacious and well illuminated with a good view of the surrounding areas. Water supply and the shower were excellent. I never expected anything like this. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting the city of Gondar without any reservations. I was truly impressed.

I felt like I was at my home and each every one of you was outstanding in taking care of my daily needs, including providing Ethiopian coffee at early morning sunrises at the hotel balcony. I never felt like I was away from my home and country, and I sincerely thank you for that. Nowadays, hygiene is of the utmost importance, and the cleanliness of the staff was excellent for all guests. The room’s view was awesome, spacious and most importantly was clean. The bathroom was neat and clean, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Every night, the night shift staff members were extremely personable with a big smile on their faces. Overall, I would like to give each and every one of you 10 out of 10 stars! I definitely will stay at Zobel for all my future endeavors and I will highly recommend this hotel to everyone when visiting Gondar, Ethiopia.

Reviewed By laurar571It's a great place for tight budgets. I had on of their small room, which is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. It's basic, but bed have a good mattress and the place situated in a quiet street so one can get a good sleep at night. Bathrooms could look nicer, but are okay. Staff is helpful and very nice, Abraham for example, shared his dinner with me, which was adorable. The food is also tasty as he's a real chef. Finally, walking distance to the main square and the castle...
