TOP12 is a new hotel in Lalibela, with, as the name says it, 12 rooms, bathrooms en-suite and balconies, from where you have a breathtaking view all over the valley and the mountains, especially impressive for sunset. Rooms and bathrooms meet absolutely Western standards but still have the traditional Ethiopian style.
Great hotel with perfect location and view
Reviewed By MsHaslundI visited Top Twelve Hotel in Lalibela for a quick weekend trip to visit the Lalibela churches. This hotel was really great. The room was spacious and comfortable, and with the most amazing view from the large balcony. The staff was friendly and service-minded, and it was such a treat to have breakfast served outside right on the cliff-side with the spectacular view of the Lalibela surroundings. Can definitely recommend.

Bed and breakfast in a nice and central quarter of Bahir Dar. The house has a nice garden. Our place is ideal to relax and watch the birds. Our rooms are simple but confortable.
Great friendly guesthouse
Reviewed By SecretStreetsThis is a guesthouse, not a hotel, so rooms are cozy and fairly basic. But a really comfortable bed and a decent bathroom is all you need. Breakfast is great and varied - they'll even offer waffles if you want. Staff are universally friendly and helpful. They organised a lake tour for me which went perfectly. Only slight problem is the location which, though close to the lake, is on an unlit minor street. As they offer only breakfast, this means a walk in darkness to find dinner. Safe but making sure to avoid potholes and not getting lost may be challenging for some.

My accommodation is found at Lalibela Ethiopia above the rock cut churches of Lalibela. Those are built in 12th century; from the hotel to the main entrance of the churches is a 3 minute walk. The hotel is new and comfortable, there is an access of cafe and food services.

Reviewed By AniaMachutI really enjoyed my stay there. It's great location for exploring the churches. The staff was very helpfull, beds are comfortable, everything was workind in bathrooms (which is not so obvious in case of budget hotels in Ethiopia). Reasonable price for this standard.

Views from your bedroom are fabulous. Staff are lovely, highly recommend, possibly nicest hotel on our trip so far.

It's quiet, one can sleep well and dream about all the Lalibela's churches and heritage. Good price with a good breakfast which is included. Sami, who runs the guesthouse, is a nice and young cool guy who will help you with everything. As his brother. They were extra welcoming with me as they took me to a bar for sunset from which the view on the valley is breathtaking.

OMG,,, great view of the lovely palms of Bahir Dar and sunset. The room had all that I needed: AC, TV, Nice bed and the food from the room service very nice, lovely juices. Walking around the hotel in a very calm and typical neighbourghood full of little coffees and shops. The bulevar of Palm trees is amazying. Easy access to every location.

There was problem in water supply in the city but for this the hotel could not do nothing except providing buckets with water. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was very good and fast.Fikr the manager was always kind and helpful with me.the main living room and the whole structure needs some renovations and mantainance to give a better impression and make it more comfortable; the place is nice just needs some mantainance, despite this I would choose it again even because it is in a quiet location

A very well stay in Asinuara hotel

The hotel is also very organised and well built, it contains a high quality rooms with very clean bed and lavatory and they also have complimentary breakfast when you rent a room there. I highly enjoyed their restaurant and dining place their food was very appetising. I however couldn't find Internet connection as accessible as I had preferred but other than that I pretty much enjoyed my stay there.
