Very nice room, clean and comfortable. As for the bathroom, I can say that it's nice and clean. This is a hotel that I would recommend to everyone. It immediately puts you at ease. Located in Sagres Village, Mareta View Boutique Bed & Breakfast overlooks the white sand of Mareta beach and the crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Recently refurbished this boutique hotel has 17 rooms, 8 of which have fabulous sea views from their large private balconies. All rooms are double and equipped with air conditioning, plasma tv with satellite, minibar, phone and en-suite bathrooms.You can feel the sea breeze while having a delicious breakfast seated outside in our Tropical Garden, which also features a Jacuzzi, where you can enjoy the panoramic views.

However, the breakfast is a bit of a let down - there is no freshly cooked food or juice. A bit of a mismatch with the rest of the place.

Relaxing by the pool in the sunshine - always space (as it's not a massive hotel) and food/ drinks available all day from the poolside bar. 3 - Modern, clean rooms - with balcony, sea view, aircon, firm king sized bed, good shower. 4. Breakfast - delicious and so much choice! After a morning workout in the well-equipped gym... 5. Short 5-min walk to the beach and Antonios, a tasty seafood restaurant. Consider... It's 15 min walk to Lagos Town centre or 5 minute taxi (Uber is €3 euros). There is a development going on next door with a large crane. Noisy at times but not enough to spoil our stay at this wonderful hotel. Highly recommend.

The email contained the following sentence: We would like to thank you for your recent visit to Vila Luz. It was truly a pleasure to serve you! Every Guest is a Valued Guest, and we were delighted to be your chosen hotel during your recent stay. In my experience, none of the statements in the above sentence were true: it was not a pleasure for hem to serve customers, we were not treated as valued guests, and the staff was surly and put upon by our presence. There were a number of problems with our stay. 1. We ordered food the first night, for 28 euros, and it was some toast bread cut up in squares, and a frozen pizza. Absolutely terrible. 2. The man at the reception was terribly unfriendly. My friend and I were appalled at how rude he was to us. Also, there is nobody manning the desk after 11 pm, which for a 4-star hotel, is unthinkable. 3. I stayed two days, and the first morning I woke up with three cleaning ladies chatting, pretty loudly, under my window. Don't they know that people are sleeping? I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

We booked because he included a fado show with dinner. But the fado was canceled at the last moment and the dinner was a fiasco (Restaurante XIC). We stayed in the "Sunshine Room." The room was clean, smallish, that included a great breakfast. No hot items, but the fresh-squeezed OJ and French press coffee were appreciated. There's no English programming on the TV. Diogo was like a "one man gang" who did everything. He took us to and escorted back from XIC Resto, about 20" walk. He was so helpful.

Reviewed By CarolienBACMy boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. They did feel a bit outdated though, but that was part of the charm. The bed was quite hard though, so the sleep quality wasn't optimal. Our room had a small terrace with a lovely view: ideal to enjoy the warm summer evening and very practical to dry your swimsuit and towels. We really enjoyed the quiet location of the hotel and the beautiful views on the Spanish hills on the other side of the river Guadiana. The hotel staff was very friendly and although we arrived to early they let us into the room before check-in time. We booked a boat ride in the hotel, which was the highlight of our stay. The captain of the boat turned out to be a gentleman from the Netherlands and offered us the opportunity to steer the boat for a while. We really had a great time! The swimming pool is big enough to cool down after a hot day. We didn't succeed in conquering one of the sunbeds (we didn't mind, we only went there for a swim), so if you like relaxing by the pool, make sure to arrive at the moment the pool opens. The food and drinks in the bar are good. The dishes are simple, but tasty and the wine was poured very generously. I have to complement the cook the prepared the English breakfast. I loved every bit of it!

Breakfast was good, especially the gorgeous cakes everyday. Location is perfect for exploring the region and only a stones throw away from the beautiful town of Tavira with its array of excellent restaurants and bars. Swimming pool was nice and outside seating areas comfortable and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and certainly stay again. Thank you Don Rodrigues ?

Studio 17 is a complex of 70 new, self-catering and modernly equipped apartments. The apartments are spread over four types: Studio, Superior Studio, T1 and T2, some apartments have a generous balcony. (See the description of the apartments) Studio 17 only has an adult pool. This accommodation is approximately a 10/15 minute walk from the beach. The city center of Portimao, Portimao Marina and Praia da Rocha are a 5-minute drive away. Portimao Train Station is 3 km from Studio 17. This accommodation is recommended for good value for money in Portimao. Great place to spend your vacation.

You now need to phone the Plaza Real, the number is on the outside wall, there is also a taxi number if you have to go there. Now not easy to get into your room if you arrive after 5pm, phone Plaza Real to get the 4 digit code for the lock box, then you get the key to enter the building, you also get a piece of paper with an 8 digit code, but to enter the room you need a 10 digit code, you need to enter 0 the 8 digit code then press the key code. OKay when you know, but tough if you have problems.

Reviewed By 777JaneReally enjoyed our stay here. Great central location in Faro handy for train, buses, ferries, bars and restaurants. Our room was quiet, really clean and comfortable and the WiFi was good. We would definitely return. Faro is a great centre for exploring the Algarve.
