Very nice place with excellent breakfast
Reviewed By timoh868We were staying for one night and we were amazed by the stylish decor. The building is totally repaired using materials that are similar than original. Also furniture and even roses in breakfast table match and are very stylish to my taste. Personal were nice and helpful and we had very nice stay. Breakfast was amazing, the bread was baked there, porridge was great and it was serviced to the table. All together very nice place and exceptionally good value for money.

An arts & crafts country lodge in the beautiful Alandian archipelago. The lodge is situated on a peninsula with the Alandian sea on both sides. The farm-house is extended and restored by Hans himself, who is a former carpenter. We have been eager to keep the farmʼs Alandian atmosphere and together with the impact of Jackieʼs English heritage it has become a pleasant cross-over between the local culture and some British influences.

Reviewed By 142annicaeWhat a lovely place with great atmosphere. The rooms were so beautifully decorated with every little thoughtful detail. Jackie & Hans were welcoming and warm hosts. They are obviously good at what they do and their care for the guests is reflected in the atmosphere and in every little detail around. The food was fantastic so it is an accommodation that we are happy to return to and recommend to everyone. It is a great place to stay and enjoy beautiful scenery, warm hospitality and a first class restaurant.

Cozy and modern pensionat
Reviewed By Eirinn1975It looks more like a small hotel than a pensionat. Rooms are small but well thought and they feel cozy and warm. Bed was OK, unfortunately with small and not so comfortable pillows. On the other hand the bathroom was quite large and pleasant. Breakfast was good with the usual selection of finnish breakfast staples, the bread though was fantastic, freshly baked by the local bakery, plus the juice was something unusual and refreshing. The location is just outside the village but close enough to reach it easily by foot, same can be side for the nearby brewery. Interactions with the staff were at a minimum, probably for the covid situation.

Reviewed By Kati LHad a break there because of the recommendation, absolutely worth for a visit. There was the best Ålands pankaka I have ever eaten and the athmosphere was nice and friendly. I will definitely come back when I am next time in Åland.

A topmost experience
Reviewed By PasaatituuliOur second stay in this hotel and restaurant, this time four nights. Rooms are spacious and clean with exemplary bathrooms. No room service during these days but it didn't bother us at all. Actually we expecting it to be in this way. Last year we were the only travellers but this time we became accompanied by several others ... even from abroad. Breakfast was delicious and comprehensive. Nothing to complain about. With good food one gets in good humour and receives everything needed for long birding tours on various bird watching platforms and -tower built on island during last year. We ate our anniversary dinner at the restaurant of this hotel and enjoyed about delicious food: goat cheese sallad as a starter, fried perch with new potatoes and other vegetables with white gravy. For the dessert we chose fried Camembert with vanilla ice cream. All three courses were delight for eyes and for taste buts. Warmly recommend.

Reviewed By pekonijVery nice place to stay. Room was just renovated and clean. Breakfast is excellent. The yard is great if you have small children and setting is beautiful. The bathrooms are shared which is not ideal. Also as the building is old and staff is working late (can't really complain about that), there is noise in rooms until ~22. Lemland is beautiful and this place offers good value.

Reviewed By jetset1973On our bicycle tour through Aland my kids and I stayed one night at Ennigheten. We had a very basic and shallow room in what seemed to be a former barn. We had a shared bathroom in a separate building that was not really kept clean. The toilets were smelly. The breakfast was okay, but the choice of food was limited. The person attending to clients was not exactly cordial. At a nightly rate of around EUR 150 I would have expected more.

Cute wonderful guesthouse
Reviewed By KatarinaFinlandSuch a well kept, pretty, cute, charming guesthouse! The owner lives downstairs and she has renovated a few rooms upstairs for the guesthouse. Eveything was clean and well organized. Breakfast was perfect and she had even prepared a lot of glutenfree items for me as I mentioned it beforehand. Also a nice big balcony next to the kitchen to hang out on! We absolutely loved our stay in this small village :)

Reviewed By Jan-WillemMalinNice place. No luxury, but clean and nice location at the water. Very good breakfast. We used the barbecue every night, you can borrow their bbqs and pay a small amount for the coals. We found the road close by a bit noisy, but no big deal.

Granlunda Gardshotell is located in Jomala, only 10 km from Mariehamn. Our 7 hotel rooms are located on the second floor, above the horse stable with private bathroom in every room. Breakfast is served in the conference room with a full equipped kitchen and a lounge area.
Lovely stay in a countryside hotel
Reviewed By heini_m_lWe stayed two nights in this lovely hotel that was build on the top of horse stable. Hotel was in the middle of Ålands countryside and by car it is only 15 min ride from Mariehamn. Hotel had lots of details and everything seem to be well thought: Beds were amazing and plankets so comfortable. Rooms had little flowers from the garden. Breakfast was delicious. Next time I wish to have a riding lesson too.
