Reviewed By Meander63846335215I stayed with Selina on and off for 3 weeks. The hostel is very friendly and helpful with coordinating day excursions. I loved their smoothie bowl and coffee in the mornings, and had a variety of healthy options at the restaurant when in need of a snack. Beds were clean with divider blinds that made for a private hostel sleep. Thank you Selina La Paz!

Reviewed By ViniciusH296Wi-fi doesn't work, shower doesn't drop enough water to have a minimally pleasant bath. Price wasn't that low either. Location isn't bad at all. There should be better options. Hosts were really nice, but didn't find them to request help with the matters stated above.

Reviewed By i_igos725Teníamos reservado el hotel desde días antes. Nos escribieron por la mañana para ver a qué hora llegabamos. Su respuesta que no nos preocupamos que esperaban. Al llegar al alojamiento nos dijeron que nuestra habitación ya estaba ocupada porque habíamos llegado muy tarde. Nos quedamos en plena semana santa a las 9 de la noche caminando con las maletas buscando un alojamiento. Adjunto las fotos de la conversación. Espero que si vas a hacer una reserva te lo pienses dos veces.

Reviewed By ornellarvPalacio del Inca tiene una relación precio calidad insuperable (345 bol. Por dos noches en habitación matrimonial con baño privado, toallas, wifi y balcón). Las vistas desde la pieza y área del desayuno son hermosas. La habitación es grande, con una cama cómoda y espaciosa. El desayuno es variado y muy contundente. El anfitrión se dio el tiempo de explicarnos todos los atractivos de la isla y sugerirnos lugares que visitar. Debido a la altura aconsejo llevar medicina (sorochipil). En la hostal nos facilitaron te de coca y hojas coca para masticar. Lleven dinero en efectivo porque no hay cajeros y no encontramos lugares que aceptaran tarjeta de crédito.

Spotless with all the right facilities
Reviewed By david166468We stayed here for three nights. There were quite a few rules provided in advance but the need for these became clear when we arrived. The rooms including kitchens and bathrooms were spotless. There were very good entertainment facilities provided and the location is good. We had a couple of issues in our stay (one completely out of the control of the owner) but these were dealt with very well by the owner. Contrary to one of the other reviews there was heating when we stayed there. Only thing I would suggest is provision of more cleaning materials to maintain the cleanliness of the rooms while we were there. Happy to recommend.

Family vacation
Reviewed By Travel302720We had pre booked our stay at tecno hotel. Upon our arrival the manager was rude from the start and said he didn’t see our reservation, I insisted and proceeded to show my intinerary on my IPhone it was then he found it. Our stay was pre paid and he insisted on charging the whole bill I’ve again. I had to call my booking agency waisted an our of our time and the man insisted on us paying again even after I showed him the charge from my bank application. The service was rude and we ended up walking out.

Excellent hotel
Reviewed By Lynn FWe were a group of 15 friends visiting the Caranavi area in order to see butterflies. The hotel was an excellent base, large rooms with comfortable beds, small tranquil garden and a refreshing swimming pool. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This was appreciated as we were visiting Bolivia just at the time of political disturbances. The hotel in on the edge of town, but only a few minutes walk from the Main Street. It has a roof top terrace with commanding views of the town and countryside

Excellent service
Reviewed By 17csliaoAs a solo traveller, Roes hostel was the perfect place for me. The location is excellent, close to Sagarnaga st, the teleferico cables, and many shops and restaurants. The accommodation was basic but clean, and had everything I needed. The bathroom is not attached but I was the only one on my floor so it felt like a private bathroom. There’s no heater so at night (in May) it got quite cold but Rodrigo was happy to give me more blankets, which solved the problem. Rodrigo is very responsive over WhatsApp and was willing to answer all my questions about the hostel, tours, buses in La Paz, airport, etc. If I had any question at all during my visit I felt safe to ask him, and he always responded kindly and in much detail (with screenshots of maps which he would circle and draw arrows on). Rodrigo was also accommodating with my travel schedule. When I was set to take the night bus to Uyuni, I was able to stay in the hostel until I had to go, and I left some of my larger luggage locked in the hostel. Overall my experience here was extremely pleasant and I highly recommend staying here!
