Great views, food, spa and hiking trails in beautiful Coimata

Reviewed By Loroito

We have never stayed at the hotel because we live close by but we regularly enjoy the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating with great views. The spa is available for two hours for 100 B's. It includes a steam room (Bolivians call it a wet sauna) and a jacuzzi. And the hotel has a hiking trail up the hill behind the hotel with great views. They have many other amenities as well: outdoor pool, zip line, etc. Highly recommend for a relaxing time in nature.

An Adequate Hotel in a Great Location

Reviewed By GoneTropo

We chose the Hotel Victoria Plaza due to it's location across from the square. The hotel was adequate and we had one of the suites. The room was good size but all of the furniture was stained. So, they need to have it cleaned. We were here for 4 days and no one spoke any English. We speak Spanish so it was not a problem but be warned if you don't. The internet was good and the breakfast was terrible!!!! If you did not arrive by 7am, there was nothing much left to eat and they did not seem to replensih the buffet. The first day we went to get some juice and no glasses. We also wanted some fruit but most of it had been consumed. The hotel could be very nice if they upped their game. Until they do, we would not recommend for anyone to stay here.

Convenient location, helpful staff

Reviewed By stitcheroo1

We stayed 3 nights at the Terravina. The staff, including the owner Lorena, were at all times helpful, friendly and understanding. A nice breakfast buffet in the morning with delicious coffee. Our room, 209, was small but very clean and pleasant with a small sitting area and comfortable bed. It faced the street and there was some noise but not bad. The bathroom had some problems: very small, rather dark with poor lighting (more like a candle), a showerhead at a difficult angle, a slippery tub. The bathtub/shower really needs a safety bar to hold onto. Another problem for us, as older travelers, were the somewhat steep steps to reach our room--with no handrail. I spoke to Lorena about this and she said she will remedy this problem. The hotel is within a short walking distance to the central plaza, shops, restaurants, and several interesting museums.

Blissful escape!

Reviewed By Rachaefox

We stayed in Eco Hotel Gota del Chaco for 4 nights in a double room with private bathroom. Things we appreciated: - 24 hour check-in and welcoming arrival at 1am in the morning! - incredibly comfortable and spacious room - very large, comfortable and clean bed - very large shower with good water pressure - lovely pool outside - kitchen facilities available for use - great breakfast - amazing tour of Rio Pilcomayo and surrounding roads, including some history of the town and cultures (extra cost) - gorgeous, friendly, welcoming family Things which weren't ideal for us: - the wifi was slow (might be solely due to the heavy rain and thunder/lightning during 2 days of our stay) - located a significant way away from the city centre (but there are small stores very close) We would very highly recommend staying here and adored our stay!

Unorganized

Reviewed By edov280

Accused us of stealing a towel when we didn’t even take one out of the room. completely unorganized regarding our reservations. they don’t accept cards even though they have a card reader, simply because they don’t want to pay the card reader fine. The only reason I’ll give them a star is because of the amazing shower.
