Our Hotel has 8 suites in a contemporary style complex, 4 comfortable apartments made to enjoy in family. Our Junior suite includes kitchenette and dinning area. The presidential suite with 2 levels and sauna. all rooms have spectaculare views. In the restaurant we offer a variety of German and Guatemalan menues. At the hotel you will appreciate the different the different kind of animals and flowers of the region. Have fun and relax at the various facilities such as the infinity pool, the temazcal, gym and children park.

Reviewed By AnbyirWe ask in recepción for raid, to kill not one or 10, at least 40 inscets in the room and they did not help us, it can be pretty but if they can not help the client it is not worse the price! Preguntamos en recepción si nos podían dar raid, para matar no uno ni 10 zancudos, al menos 40 zancudos en la habitación y no nos quisieron ayudar, puede ser bonito pero terrible servicio al cliente, en especial en recepción. Capaciten a su personal!

Perfect in every way
Reviewed By SteinthorI stayed for two nights early January and I’m so pleased that I chose this place. My room was huge with a large bathroom and shower area. Everything was meticulously clean and tidy, bed comfortable and the large flat screen tv had lots of different channels. Give House is in the old centre zone 1, the area is considered not very safe, especially late, but I never felt unsafe and walked everywhere. Giovanni, the host, is fabulous. So friendly and helpful, would do anything for his guests. And he runs a daytime cafe in the same building, I highly recommend the light meals. I will not stay anywhere else in Guatemala City.

Good option to stay at El remate
Reviewed By looking4natureThis hotel is well located, walking distance to all stores, restaurants and places to exchange money. It is cheap/affordable and quite basic, but the rooms are VERY clean, the staff is very helpful, the air conditioning works well. The pool: here is where they lost one star! I chose this hotel because they have a swimming pool (which other hotels in this place don’t have) so our son could have some time swimming, however the water looked dirty and poorly maintained, it really discouraged me. A good advice for the hotel staff: You should keep it cleaner! The restaurant: It is excellent! I usually eat outside when I travel, but this little restaurant has excellent food! Maybe our best meals in El Remate!! Plus the price of the food here is good.

We are ten minutes away by boat from the Rio Dulce Bridge. It is a very quiet place in an exclusive area of chalet, in our restaurant you can enjoy typical food of the region, we can help you organize boat tours to Livingston or Castillo de San Felipe

They make offers that don't honor. They Will lie to you just to get your bussines. Do not trust this people. NO WI-FI.

Trip with Caravan to see Mayan ruins
Reviewed By Robert672015This hotel was a wonderful place to stay after a long and tiring trip from Guatemala City in March, 2017. Road construction delayed the bus considerably, so that we ate lunch at the place we were to have supper, and supper was well after dark at Rio Dulce. It was midnight by the time we arrived at this lodge. The most disappointing down side of the trip was that during this long trip the guide put on a movie in the bus for us to watch. It was filled with foul language, obscenities and cursing. I asked for the film to be turned off. The guide refused. It spoiled our whole trip. I have asked Caravan for a statement of their policies for such things. They have simply said they leave things up to the guides they ire. the only problem with this response is that it was the Latin American supervisor for Caravan himself who recommended this film to the guide.
