This breathtaking hotel is located right on the Atlantic coast above the water offering a stunning ocean view and only 50 meters away from the inviting beach of Ericeira. Connections to the public transport network are to be found 500 metres away and the nearest airport is in Lisbon 40 km away. In the hotel surrounding there are many shops, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Opened in 2002, the hotel offers a total of 202 rooms spread over 5 floors. Among the rooms 116 with ocean view and 5 junior suites. The hotel includes a lobby area with a 24-hour reception desk, free Wi-Fi in public areas, wheelchair access and lifts, hotel safe. For those arriving by car the hotel offers parking or garage (for an additional fee). In the common areas you will find a restaurant with buffet or a la carte service, 2 bars, a game room, kids playground and business corner. The hotel is fully equipped with event rooms with internet access and multimedia options ideal for meetings and conferences. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground and participate in the kids' club activities. Room, laundry and medical services round up the facilities on offer. Reviewed By MargC802Some say first impressions are everything. Our first impression of this beautiful hotel was bad. Tired of the car trip, we arrived at the hotel just to find out that the hotel’s parking lot is very small considering the size of the hotel. The result was that we had to walk with our bags 1km between our car and the hotel. As soon as we entered the hotel lobby, we saw that there were some guests waiting in line. We saw 3 members of the staff, so we thought our check-in would be soon. At that point, tired of the trip and tired of walking with the bags, we had to stay in line for 35 minutes until we could check-in (in February, not even during summer time). We also had the feeling the staff members werent attentive at all. They would repeatedly interrupt their talk with some guest, to talk with another guests (?), answer the phone (?) never saying “excuse me, let me just…” One minute they were talking with you, next minute they would left you in silence. The rooms are a bit dated, but the beds are comfy. Good soundproof windows. The sea view is amazing. Just lovely. However, the balcony furniture was very dirty. We had to clean it. The breakfast is perfect. There is plenty to choose from. Make sure to enjoy your breakfast and if you can, book a room with a sea view: it’s worth it!!

Reviewed By T7149GGtimgYou and the Sea is incredible! Perfect location with ocean views and a short walk to the beach. The entire hotel, pool, beach-side amenities are filled with fun and trendy art. Stayed in a 3 bedroom duplex that was in great shape and extremely clean. The staff were incredible and went the extra mile to help with a celebration. The food at the hotel restaurant was also extremely tasty and unique. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Reviewed By ezwe123Had a lovely week stay in July, lovely staff. Rooms were cleaned as soon as you left even if you had a lazy lay in as we did many days, the maids were exceptional. Perfect location such a lovely little town full of bars and restaurants. Air con was amazing! We cant wait to visit again.

Reviewed By acoustic2019The hostel has a lot of potencial but the cleaness of it is terrible (dirty floor, table, toilet seat...). I did not feel confortable at all during our stay. The beds were not confortable, specially the sofa bed. The mattress are old and very used. The walls have mould spots.... terrible! We were not excepting this for the price. We were thinking that we were staying in a place with good conditions as we paid 140€ per night. The good part was the staff and the facilities outside of the room. They have mexican beds, a skate park, pool, voleibol court... but without cleaness is very complicated. Unfortuntely i do not recommend it. Ericeira has many cool hostels and hotels that quickly overcome this place for an equivalent or lower price.

Great Location, Basic Room, Welcoming
Reviewed By imissneworleansWe wanted a real hotel, but a good value, in Ericeira, and this was a good choice. The room was basic and the hard wood floor was not perfectly clean (maybe because the windows were open to cool it off) but we were quite happy with our choice. The woman in reception was friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, so we had to take out little suitcases up the narrow stairs ourselves. There is no air-conditioning, which you usually don't need, but it was too loud and way too bright to keep the windows open. They had dark curtains, but the way they were hung allowed a lot of light in over the top of them and the street lights are quite bright.

Lovely night porter
Reviewed By Sharon RWe arrived in Ericeira at about 9.30pm on a Sunday night looking for a room for the night. We walked in to the reception area of the Pedro o Pescador hotel and we were greeted by the night porter. He was very helpful despite his minimal english and our very poor portuguese, he showed us a room which was perfect for our night stay and booked us in. We then went out to eat, he showed us the bell to call upon our return. He was just so pleasant and friendly that he really made us feel welcome. He also came and spoke to us as we were leaving and putting our luggage into our car, wishing us a safe journey. He made such an impression on us that it made our short stay there very memorable. Thank you Senor.

The location is right near the town centre but theres no noise at night. I would highly recommend this for couples and solo travelers. When I go back to Ericeira, I will be booking here again.

Reviewed By AnnegvbWe went to Ericeira for a couple of nights in the very low season. We knew that we arrived at Olive3 the same day as they opened up after their winter holiday, so we expected a sleepy hostel with not a lot going on etc. Luckily, we were so wrong :-) The staff and volunteers were super friendly and happy to help with questions and queries (e.g. where to rent surfboards or where to eat) and ready to hang out in the evening with a cup of tea or a beer. The breakfast was just amazing (I want to put a word here that’s better than amazing, but I can’t think of one). Delicious vegetarian and vegan options as well, which was a nice surprise. Our room was spacious and light, and just like the rest of the hostel, the decor was charming as well as functional. The owner himself made sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible and tirelessly answered every little question we had. Uh, and not to forget North, the hostel cat - we love him! Everyone had an incredible attention to detail - from little hand painted rocks at the breakfast table to lighting small lanterns outside in the evening. Thank you for a great stay!

The staff was above and beyond helpful, providing us with a few extra amenities that we needed during our stay. Location cannot be beat. Would not hesitate to stay again!
