Reviewed By thieta564012Very good location, everything is nearby. Helpful staffs, breakfast selection is very good and tasty. Only downside is that hotel room is very small. There is restaurant inside of the hotel, they serve very tasty and pictures presentation food.

Spectacular location with beautiful accommodation and amazing sunsets!
Reviewed By nickburgerWe visited HavsVidden for a company conference in May 2022. We took over a large part of the complex and it is an amazing place. Beautiful sunsets and spectacular scenery, especially the red granite roads set against the green forest and the blue sky. The villas were great, with lots of space, terraces and saunas / hot tubs. A few of the villas even had infinity pools on the terrace! Staff were super helpful and polite with constant effort to make us feel welcome. All in all this is an inspiring and beautiful place. It is calm and natural and the environment gives off a vibe that is almost spiritual. We talk about wanting to make the world a better experience, but in this case it was the world making a better experience for us. Thank you HavsVidden, I feel very privileged to have been able to visit you. Kiitos!

Reviewed By lindhtoVery good location near the east harbour. The breakfast was good and included in the room price. Would have preferred at least a mini fridge in the room. A lot of food was spoiled. A table for working would have been good also.

An arts & crafts country lodge in the beautiful Alandian archipelago. The lodge is situated on a peninsula with the Alandian sea on both sides. The farm-house is extended and restored by Hans himself, who is a former carpenter. We have been eager to keep the farmʼs Alandian atmosphere and together with the impact of Jackieʼs English heritage it has become a pleasant cross-over between the local culture and some British influences.

Reviewed By 142annicaeWhat a lovely place with great atmosphere. The rooms were so beautifully decorated with every little thoughtful detail. Jackie & Hans were welcoming and warm hosts. They are obviously good at what they do and their care for the guests is reflected in the atmosphere and in every little detail around. The food was fantastic so it is an accommodation that we are happy to return to and recommend to everyone. It is a great place to stay and enjoy beautiful scenery, warm hospitality and a first class restaurant.

Good value for money
Reviewed By liverpool1023Despite the middling reviews, I thought this hotel offered very good value for money. The room was spacious with a large TV, kettle and coffee, phone etc. The ancient beds proved to be comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Overall sleep quality was good. The downsides were that the fixtures and fittings are tired (although everything is clean and tidy) and the breakfast is a bit basic. Overall you can’t quibble over the price.

Good hotel, even though slightly past its best-before-date
Reviewed By Lennart SMy wife and I stayed two nights at a superior room with own balcony overlooking the sea. It was a real treat to be able to sit outdoors on the balcony with a post-dinner glass of win, as the weather was exceptionally pleasant for the season. The room was generally fully adequate, but three (!) of the lamps in the room were not functioning. Breakfast was excellent, with smoked salmon as a bit of an extra, but the bread toast was next to useless. Kudos for the gin bar which was stocked with a broad assortment of gins and tonic waters, also well staffed. So, our overall impression was relatively positive, but we found attention to detail somewhat lacking. More fundamentally, the property seems to have been built (in the 70s?) with an overoptimistic idea of grand international hotel. leaving the place slightly faded today and with several redundant-looking spaces. Also, a bit overpriced in relation to what you get.

Reviewed By carol1151A nice clean but basic hotel. Room was spacious and a small kitchen was most convenient. Hotel provided milk, kettle etc. so could make own tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was very good range of things to eat but all cold - would have been nice to see a hot option. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Reviewed By SanniK89We stayed here for one night in a cabin. The cabin was clean and bed was good but overall very simple. Not located right by the beach like we thought. Sauna was nice and guests can also rent boats for free. Restaurant is very good and made our stay better.

Cozy and modern pensionat
Reviewed By Eirinn1975It looks more like a small hotel than a pensionat. Rooms are small but well thought and they feel cozy and warm. Bed was OK, unfortunately with small and not so comfortable pillows. On the other hand the bathroom was quite large and pleasant. Breakfast was good with the usual selection of finnish breakfast staples, the bread though was fantastic, freshly baked by the local bakery, plus the juice was something unusual and refreshing. The location is just outside the village but close enough to reach it easily by foot, same can be side for the nearby brewery. Interactions with the staff were at a minimum, probably for the covid situation.
