A very tired and outdated hotel
Reviewed By JannalyI stayed in this hotel for one week. On the arrival I upgraded from economy too to one bedroom apartment for a reasonable money, much less then an upgrade online would cost. The apartment is good size and well designed but I have never had so many technical issues in one hotel as in this one week. The ceiling light was broken, two sockets in the kitchen didn’t work, the reception for few available digital channels was poor and most of the time didn’t work, soap dispenser didn’t work, the shower needed fix before using it. It was just annoying and an indication of poor hotel management. The furniture was very worn out and old. On the other hand, the staff was helpful, and the food was very good, breakfast as well as dinner. Therefore 3 stars but if anyone ever builds a new hotel in the area, I would not come here back.

Worst customer service experience
Reviewed By fly6006Ended up here when I thought I had booked their affiliate property, L7. Seems that they use the same reservation email address for both hotels and just assume you want to book this hotel without bothering to ask. Trying to sort this out with them was absolutely impossible, and customer service does not seem to be a concept they have any familiarity with.

Small and privately owned Lodge 67N is situated in the heart of Akaslompolo village, in Finnish Lapland. Seven standard rooms w/ a kitchenette, suite w/ a kitchenette and a larger apartment with own entrance, three bedrooms and a sauna. For most of the rooms it's possible to add extra beds. The lodge offers optimal location, room for storage and maintenance of your gear and a tasty breakfast.
excellent vacation
Reviewed By PoripiruLodge 67 offered great facilities for a great vacation. everything was homely, clean and the staff was infinitely cordial. the breakfast, sauna and location was great too. Äkäslompolo offer good opportunities for skiing, snowshoeing and the outdoors. thanks to the staff for their hospitality, we will meet again.

On the best Location on Yllas, middle of the Akaslompolo village. We have all services on walking distance, but still peacefully. We have 6 Full-equipment, different sizes cabins for 2 to 8 person. Superfast, free Wi-Fi. On winter we offer Northern Lights ( Aurora ) alarm, Northern Lights cabins, ( you can see Auroras straight from your coach ), sledhill etc. On summer we have bikes, rowingboats and trampoline.

All amenities and necessary equipment can be found. Friendly host. About 500 meters for cross-country ski trails. Pet friendly.

Ylläshilla log cabin is a beautifully finished luxury log cabin in the heart of the Ylläs fell in the Finnish Lapland. The place is called Nilivaara and lies in the village of Akaslompolo. The cabin is ideal for families, but there is also plenty of room for various groups. Furthermore, you are welcome to bring your pet here. This cabin can accommodate a larger party and provides a perfect refuge to enjoy the activities in the area.
Northern light
Reviewed By rolandfF9723BXThe cottage is very nice and comfortable, very well equipped. We were 8 people and there was plenty of everything in the kitchen. It is in a very quiet location but everything is close by for sports activities and shopping. It was a relaxing week with snow scooters, dog sleds and the Northern Lights. Great hotel- Loved Lapland and the skiing!
Reviewed By DJ9944Just spent the week at the hotel on (20-27 Feb 2022) on a group skiing holiday though Crystal Ski. There were 14 of us - 9 adults and 5 kids. The hotel is in a good location- short walk to the shops and bars. The ski bus picks up from the front of the hotel and Crystal Ski customers can get free daily bus tickets from the hotel reception. The bus trip to the ski resort is 4km and only takes 10 minutes. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed in a quad room with 2 single beds downstairs and 2 beds up stairs in a mezzanine. There is a wardrobe with sliding mirror doors and a fridge. The bathroom is a wet room with shower, sink and toilet, and a sauna. The rooms were warm. A bit too warm at times but you can open the windows (near in mind it can be -20 outside!) The food was good. Food is taken in the restaurant. Breakfast had a wide choice including cereal, fruits, continental and egg, bacon and sausages. Evening meal is a buffet and there was plenty of food and choice. The kids (teenagers) enjoyed the food too. There is a bar in the restaurant and a bar in the foyer. The kids liked the games room. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Always there to help with questions and service was good too. They helped us arrange a taxi bus to the Snow Village (which was by far cheaper option than booking an organised trip). We even saw the Northern Lights outside the hotel! We really enjoyed our trip to Lapland and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Thanks for having us.

Cross country skiing
Reviewed By ilkka1Took a cross country skiing tour in Ylläs. The weather was quite chilly, about -24 degrees celcius. On the way back to the starting point I stopped by at Seita. Friendly and quick service and the cocoa was good.

Cozy Hotel in the middle of the nature
Reviewed By annacK8554ADNice and cozy family-run hotel . Our room was simple but with everything you need, with enough storage space and comfortable beds. Very tasty dinner, made from scratch. The surrounding nature is amazing, perfect place to spot the northern lights. The village is reachable within an easy 20 to 30 minutes walk or faster by cross-country sking. The ski trail is just in front of the hotel. The owner and her daughter Nea were really kind and helpful.

February 2022 Trip to Lapland

I would highly recommend this hotel, the property was beautiful and not too far away from the downtown area so it’s just a few minutes drive if you want to explore. The staff was incredibly helpful with anything we needed while at the hotel in terms of getting to and from our activities and booking any additional things to do. We had a car, so we didn’t need the help of the staff too much when it came to getting around. The Restaurant was excellent, and we ate there both nights. I would recommend making a dinner and Sauna reservation right away because they do book quickly. There was no Wifi in the rooms, but it didn’t bother us too much at all as there is free Wifi in the main lodge where the restaurant is located. We spent a lot of time deciding where to stay in Lapland and this was definitely my favorite location and hotel we stayed at.

Reviewed By HJ-HyperFull equipped kitchen, open fire place and sauna. Free fire wood in external shed at your disposal. Clean cabin with car park direct in front. Only 10 minutes walk to the center with a supermarket, restaurants and activities.
