Very nice hotel with swimming pool situated in a quite area at 450m from the beach offering a personalized service. We also have 2 spacious banqueting rooms to celebrate events.

Reviewed By DelEspArrived earlier than the 2pm stated on the booking. Staff couldn't have been friendlier and allowed us to check in early. This was great as it meant we could leave bags in the room. The lady on reception was very helpful and talked me through everything. The hotel was bright, airy and very clean. There is a lift, so don't worry if you have baggage. Key entry rooms, keypad inside the room to activate lights and air conditioning. The first thing that struck me again was the cleanliness, bathroom was exceptionally clean too. Beds felt like they had a memory foam matress, very comfortable. Good sized balcony with a sea view and pool view too. I went to the pool which was well maintained, clean and the water was an ideal temperature. Overall I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Playasol, I will be returning when I'm visiting Bolnuevo next from my property inland.

Reviewed By cymraeg4I emphasise that this review is based on the time of year and the particular room. Positives - lovely location, lovely view, helpful staff, a charming old building. Clearly a favourite location for breakfast and other meals for non-residents when it's sunny. Parking not too problematic but might be severe in summer. Negatives - we had a corner room at the front. 2 balconies with floor to roof windows and doors. They didn't fit well and the heater provided did not keep us warm enough even after borrowing our son's heater from his room. At night with wind and rain, water blew onto the floor. There is nowhere inside to sit that is heated. The inside patio would be very nice in summer but not when cold and wet. In summary, probably a great place when it's warm or if you don't feel the cold.

Reviewed By sanaltosA beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, close to the areas of interest. Our private terrace overlooking the Cathedral and Castle was lovely and certainly made our stay so relaxing. The staff were really friendly and delicious homemade cake at breakfast was a real treat. The fridge and tea/coffee making facilities were appreciated too! Loved the decor of the hotel and the attention to detail with everything.

Los Cuatro Vientos is an adult only rural country house retreat with panoramic mountain views, relaxing walks and pure tranquility. The old finca has been sympathetically renovated by friendly hosts Richard and Steve to a very high standard with exposed stone walls, rustic beams, and vaulted ceilings to retain much of the character and feel of a Spanish home. Each room has an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary design with original features, cheerful wall coverings and chic furnishings to make your stay comfortable and enjoyabl. We have two rooms each with an ensuite, TV, kettle with welcome tray, complimentary toiletries, free wifi, and premium towels and linens. Our spacious deluxe double has a queen size bed with carved headboard, seating area and a large balcony with stunning mountain views. We also offer a twin room also with mountain views. An optional continental breakfast is served from our bar each morning where drinks and food can be requested throughout the day.
Amazing with surprising a friend for her birthday
Reviewed By katarzynap545I haven't been there, to be honest, but a friend of mine went there for her birthday and in order to surprise her with something special I contacted Richard before and asked him if he could help me out. Long story short: he was absolutely amazing, organized 2 bottles of wine, some crackers, and some cheese, prepared some flowers, and even made it possible for me to write a short note and some wishes and print them out. I mean how amazing can someone be. As mentioned I haven't even been a guest. But Richard helped me to prepare something amazing for a very special friend of mine. He answered all my stupid questions, helped me find the right thing, and got all the things that I have chosen. Just freaking AWESOME. This is definitely a place I want to go to at least once in my life.

This owner is very modern and stylish. the rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. If you need a hotel for business or if you are looking to buy property in this area, this is the hotel to stay at.

Reviewed By Nick WOwners and staff very helpful in this clean pleasant B&B. For value it's really hard to beat. Spotless bedroom and bathroom together with very efficient Airconditioning make it worth a stay. Easy parking too. It's a bit off the main town but assuming you've got a car Cartagena is only 15 minutes away. Warning though all the local bars and restaurants only staffed by Spanish speakers so take your phone with Google Translate if you want to know what your ordering!!!

Reviewed By paulmL3378QGWe are looking into buying a property in the Puerto de Mazarrón area and wanted a cheap hotel for a week as a good base! We booked the 2 star Pension Los Cisnes! We got what we needed. Friendly welcome, clean rooms, good air con, great location 5 mins gentle walk to the beach and port! The area has been great, we spoke to the manager about checking out late and how much would they charge for an extra half day. “ Of course this is possible and there will be no extra charge” was his response! We were very pleased and shocked, when staying in 5 star hotels this would not happen. So if you want a clean room, comfy beds, pleasant welcome and friendly staff for s great price come and stay at Pensión Los Cisnes.

Reviewed By airman74Went there on business. This “venta” is very clean and quiet. Beds are VERY small/short. They need to renovate beds ASAP. Decent place to stay one night. It’s restaurant is poor. Menus are nasty lol You can find a way better restaurant just 3 minutes away driving from Venta Tebar, Águilas direction. By the road. WiFi collapses frequently. Friendly staff. Good beer.

Reviewed By Tom CI went with a friend again to Abarán to the festival and stayed one night at the Meson, got my usual big welcome from Francicco and family. Nothing changes here year in year out I'm glad to report. Good food and drink at a good honest price and good clean and comfortable rooms with decent beds. This to me is what Spain is all about get yourself off the the main drag and spend a little time in these little places away from the noise and bustle. I'm looking forward to my next visit. TomC.

Restaurant only. Nice food, not very good service
Reviewed By Oscar LWe were four people having dinner. The food was right, spanish regular food at reasonable price. The question is that we asked for the day menu and the waiter said us that there was not menu at all at that time. The "carte" was quite expensive and not very extensive, but suddenly, we realize that the waiter was offering the day menu to the next table. We told him and he was nervous and said that we're right, there was a day menu indeed, very cheap compaired with the carte. It was not a very "clean" way of acting.
